I think... I have now a bra that fits :O

Today I already got the Sculptresse Willow that I recently managed to grab on ebay for sale price. I ordered it on Sunday night. I was so shocked that it arrived already. That makes shipping 2 work days! Note that seller, if you ever need to get something fast: undercover2005. The postage was a bit higher than usual but I won't mind if I get my stuff that fast.
I am still waiting on my Elomi Caitlyn in 34J that I ordered 2 weeks ago from another seller :/

Anyway - since all my bras that I tried in the past weeks were epic failures, I had low expectations or let's say I try to keep my excitement over bras low since it always ends up in frustration. Enter Willow: first I have to say, I love that fabric. It's soft and smooth and feels heavenly. I don't know if I ever can deal with an Ariza anymore.

What is the craziest thing: the bra fits! :O
Or let's say I spotted none of my usual fit issues!
No gaping - no quadboob - no empty fabric on bottom - no gore floating (imagine - that gore lies flat!) - I can hardly believe it!
Also I wore the bra now for about 5 hours and feel no pain or discomfort! It is too good to be true!

Ok one thing: this bra would fit me better if it came in a 34J since the 36 band is a bit big. (Note the band runs like 1 size small, so the 36 band fits more like a tight 34 band.)

  • Hey Alisa, glad this worked for you. Hope you don't mind a question or 2. I really want to try Willow but the 36J in Bellise while really lovely was a total fail on me due mostly to the shallowness at the center gore. From your photos it looks like Willow does not have the same problem? I am generally a 36J and since Willow stops at HH(why, why?) I was considering a 38HH. Do you think the band is generally tighter than the Bellise? Are the straps fully adjustable(pet peeve with many Panache is the stupid half adjustable straps)? Good luck on the Caitlyn, while I have many Elomi bras that fit well I have never been able to get Libby or Caitlyn to come close to tacking. I am not full on top at all but it does not appear that the Willow "needs" FOT boobs to work. Thoughts?

  • I have the 36J - Sculptresse » Bellise Balconnet Bra (6891) too, It fits me rather well - but I had issues with the gore too. I am very full on top and need most volume towards center and on top - but I also need a lot of bottom room and wire width - anyway - Bellise did at first not fit me very well, but I made it fit: I took in the center gore – and I also tighten the straps very much. So that way Bellise fits me rather well. But if I loosen the straps – I loose support and I get some gaping on top of the cups. So I would say I am more between 36HH – 36J in Sculptresse.

I would not say that the band on Willow is tighter than Bellise. I find both bands rather snug for a 36 band as I usually wear a 32 or tight 34 band.

Willows straps are not officially fully adjustable but like on Bellise it's very easy to tighten them even beyond the padded part (where as this is rather difficult on a Panache Jasmine or Tango).

I laid both bras over each other and the band is exactly the same lenght. I will add measurments of Willow later. I think Willows cup shape is overall better for me - it might even have more center room.

I already own a 34JJ - Elomi » Caitlyn Underwire Side Support (8030) – and the gore is nowhere lying flat on me. The 34JJ is too big in the cups for me actually – but I think it's the fact that caitlyns gore is just super tall and wide and cannot fits between my close set boobs. Caitlyn is despite too wide wires and too big cups rather supportive so I keep wearing it. It's not that I have tons of bras that fits and are comfortable.

I hope that the 34J will solve some of the issues or will be overall more supportive on me since narrower wires.I really need rather wide wires, but Elomi Caitlyn is too much for me.

Sculptresse wires are spot on. Also I have to say, they are rather „low“ under the arms so no poking. (I even could deal with about 1cm higher wires to give me a bit more support – but I won't complain. I love the comfort of the fabric on both Sculptresse bras.

Have you tried other Elomi bras btw?
