Gore Height Question-Looking For Bras With Short Gores

So I recently tried a Panache Andorra full cup in a 36HH,it was a bit too small in the band, but mostly the cups.Seems like a 36J or 38J could have worked. But my main issue was the gore.It was way taller than any of my other bras and dug into me a ton.Sometimes I was ok if I didn't bend over,but...only for a while.I even tried bending the wires slightly away from me,but still a problem.
That surprised me as all the other bras I've tried have had low gores and it didn't even occur to me when I ordered it I would have this problem.I'm not sure if going up in size would have helped or not.If anyone had this issue and found sizing up to help please let me know!
I've been looking for the plunge version of the Andorra, but it's hard to find in my size.
I've been wanting to order some Ewa Michalak bras and after this whole issue, went and looked at them again...noticing the bigger sizes have highish gores as well.Yikes!I was thinking of getting the plunge as they are supposed to have lower gores, but looking at the PL's on here in my size, they still have a 4 inch gore and the Andorra's about 3/4" taller than that...not sure if I'd still have an issue or not. Will try one and find out.
Does anyone know which EM bras have lower gores from personal experience? Is there any way to request a low gore with a custom order?Would sizing down in band and up in cup *maybe* work?Or sizing up in band and down in cup..I have no idea.
I'll be pretty bummed...well,maybe a bit heartbroken,if at least 2 styles of the EM bras don't work cause of that gore,as it's one of the last brands to carry my size in colors I like and that has cotton lining.I thought I had stumbled upon a dreamworld when I found their site.
Only other brand I was thinking of was Comexim and they only go up to 36H...so depending on how their sizing runs, may or may not work.
Does anyone know of any bras with cotton linings in sizes 36J-JJ,36K,and 38H and a short gore?Or even without the cotton lining.I prefer slightly padded bras.

  • Maybe the Parfait Charlotte in the new extended sizes? Bravissimo also carries some padded plunges up to a J cup in their own line.

  • Tutti Rouge :) Padded, low gores. If you are not too full on bottom they should be working. Liliana imo is somewhat alike a padded Andorra. Very shallow, wide wires. But go directly on 36J if trying that one and get an extender. Betty - easier. It comes up higher in the cup but the gore is lower.

Also; do you have a round ribcage? Then gores will always be a problem no matter what ;/
