Three and a half months in to this

I couldn't wear a bra the whole last week. Nothing fit. I had to resort to wearing a tank top under my t-shirt and a cardigan over it when I was in public. Luckily my breasts are light enough that I can do that for a few hours. Actually it looked pretty much like when I was wearing my old bras.

My breasts had grown from hormones, but what I read about that says that it happens for a couple of days, and this was more like 5-10 days. How long does it last for you?

Now they're smaller than ever. Just generally smaller everywhere and nowhere in particular, as it looks. The bra I ordered last Friday came yesterday (Monday) and of course it's now too big in the cups. What frustrates me is that I can't even evaluate it and figure out what size I should wear now, nor when I get bigger again. Maybe it's just the wrong shape for me. I think the shape of my breasts is changing too and they seem narrower, but maybe that's just because they have shrunk.

The good thing with this is that I can wear my new bras again. They're a bit big though.

I have found that it's easier to wear all of my new bras now than when I first tried to find a fitting bra. Even the ones that are clearly too small don't make me nearly panic like they did before. It seems I have finally gotten used to wearing a more suitable band size. (Most calculators put me in 30 and I wear 32 to ease into it after having been in 36 forever.)

Something I noticed a couple of weeks ago was how my new bras affect how my clothes fit. They actually don't magically sit better. But the new bras make my actual body shape more visible, so it's easier to see what clothes fit and what does not.

I have super narrow shoulders. In cardigans I wear size EU S (36-38) and if it was up to my shoulders only I could probably go down one or two sizes. My boobs go up to my collarbones and they are wide enough to cover and go outside my chest. I wear M (40-42) to fit them and even stretchy shirts still ride up in the front.

If you saw me you would probably think that it was easy for me to find clothes in a regular store. I look like a clear, but shapeless, size M. The wide and outspread boobs kind of compensate my narrow shoulders and make me look like a strangely fat normal sized person. But when I put on a good bra my narrow shoulders are revealed. The low cut tops that I wear to fit my boobs slide off my shoulders. I bought this expensive and pretty dress a few months ago and sadly the shoulders are so wide that I will never be able to wear it. (It's actually more obvious when I don't wear a bra now too, an other sign that my boobs have changed.)

In my old bras the boobs were dragged down and my stomach was pushed out so I nearly didn't have a waist. I do have a waist now, but it's not really obvious yet. I would probably need an even smaller band, better fitting cups and figure fitted shirts to make it apparent.

I wonder though where I would find those tops that I need. Most stores here have plus size sections. None of them have a narrow-with-relatively-big-boobs section. I can't even find it online locally. Are the figleaves tops good? I'm nervous about shopping from abroad, but that may be necessary. Once again I'm tempted to set up my sewing machine. Are there other options?

Tl;dr: My boobs are changing in confusing ways and I don't know how to dress myself. :P

  • BiuBiu and Urkye are my go-to brands, but if you know how to sew, I'd say go with that because then you can get exactly what you want.

  • Thank you, Aaa!

Poland seems like a wonderful place for boobs. I wonder why that is.
