Short boobs

There's been lots of information here about tall boobs lately so I'm curious about others with short boobs such as myself.

Since I'm FoB, short and narrow boob'd, full bust "balconettes", half cups etc. feel a lot like full coverage bras on me. I have no issues with plunge bras at all, they contain me perfectly.

What bras are good for the short breasted?

  • I do good with plunges in general. With FOB breasts, it is hard to find bras that don't feel like they're full coverage.

  • I am very short boobed too, and plunges almost invariably suck on me. Reasons: (1) I have an extremely short upper torso, with wide shoulders and very pronounced pectoral 'wings', which means that plunge bra cups usually come up too high towards the straps and interfere with my movements; (2) I am slightly 'upper inner' heavy, which means my breasts tend to spill towards the centre of low-gored bras; and (3) I have recently realised I completely lack an 'upper outer', which means I get get even more gapping in the 'upper outer' part of the cups than my short boobs would otherwise already cause.

But having said that, I have yet to find any kind of bra that really fits me -- my Braology comes very very close though -- as my there seems to be no bra in existence in which the apex of my breasts actually coincides with the apex of the cups. If I manage to fit my 'width' (horizontal breast perimeter and cup depth) then I'll on average have about 2cm too much 'height' in the bottom of the cup, even in half cups that on 'normally' proportened bodies provide relatively little coverage. And said half cups will almost invariably look like full cups on me.
