Is Nessa a good brand?

I recommended this to a lady who has LL cup.

I saw this bra available at Broad Lingerie in Toronto, because they are a Polish brand that goes all the way to M in some band sizes. https://shop.broadlingerie.com/collections/polish-bras/products/omena-full-cup-minimizer-grey?variant=38351389556935, I believe that is regular price, not sale price.

I saw some of their reviews on bratabase, and I guess they used to be sold at Zaiytha Lingerie, w Ewa Michalak, I believe?? Some of their bras look a good quality (from what I can tell from the pictures on bratabase).

My point is: do you think the Nessa bras they sell on BraStop.com (https://www.brastop.com/collections/nessa-lingerie) are lower quality (like most brands do with Outlet Stores) than the below bra sold at a boutique? Or do you venture that they are all the same? E.g., they do not sell the Omena on BraStop.

edit: I noticed that Nessa using European cup sizing and I think Nessa (this particular bra) is just available to UK K (or European O cup), fyi!

  • To answer your question, I have no idea if the ones sold on BraStop would be the same quality as this one sold by Broad. I will say though, that I am a big fan of Broad and got to know the employees and owner pretty well before I moved away from Toronto. It's a small shop, so what they do carry is extremely well curated. They can't really afford to take a chance on bras they don't think will work well for most of their clientele. Perhaps this particular model is comparable to the Ewa Michalak FB bras, ie. it's designed and reinforced for the fullest busts, compared to the other models on BraStop? I've definitely heard of Nessa, and I believe I've heard only good things about their bras. I also haven't heard anything bad about the quality of bras on BraStop. Most of the time they're cheap because they're out of season/discontinued as opposed to being poorer quality.

  • echoing sherrach898 - brastop sell end of line/past season stock which is the reason it's cheap, not because its poor quality. most nessa bras use the same build/frame from what i've come across, so it's just a variation in fabrics and colours/prints between styles.
