Voting down
Is voting down mean, if someone gives poor advice is it constructive or mean spirited to vote down. I voted down on what I considered poor/incorrect advice and the person erased to comment.. Now I feel bad.

That was prob. me, no need to feel mean. I'm not a fitting expert, so I just deleted it because like you said, if it's poor advice I'm better of deleting it.
I never vote down on anything. All are here to try to help the best they can and that's how I see it. Sometimes experts don't know better than an amateur, sometimes they do. Sometimes basic knowledge is good and sometimes we need to think outside the box. But I have even voted up on things being downvoted to take away the downvote. I find it unconstructive to vote down because the people that gave advise or wrote a review or whatnot did put time and effort into it. Why would I want to put it down? People do the best they can from their abilities. I assume good faith I think, and it's what I like to preserve <3
