Bra Adventures: My Light-Toned Bra Curse
I am notoriously bad at not staining light-toned bras. I've gotten better about not doing this the longer I've been wearing properly-fitting bras (and thus taking proper care of them), but I had a bit of a mishap today!
Today, I finally got to go get my hair dyed again. Four important things to note are that 1. my hair is about upper-midway down my back nowadays 2. as part of their modified policies for COVID, my hair salon was not drying people's hair after their sessions 3. it started absolutely /pouring/ outside about 15 minutes before I got out of the salon 4. I was wearing my 65K - Comexim » Whimsy Floral (CMWHIMSY) which is a white bra.
So, I thank my stylist, pay, leave the salon, and turn down my stylist's very kind offer to drive me to my car (I was her last appointment) because my hair was wet anyway, and I really don't mind getting wet in general. So, I walked out to my car, got soaked, and drove home in the pouring rain. Well, after I got home, I took my bra off, and you wanna know what I noticed? Purple! On the clasp of my Comexim Whimsy! Luckily, it was only a little bit, and I was able to get it out with a few stain-removing techniques, but I did gasp out loud while I was on the phone with my mom when I noticed it, lol.

Oh man. I’m glad you were able to get the purple out! Me being me, I’d invest in a purple bra, or color of my hair, to wear on hair dye days just to make sure it didn’t get stained lol.
I'm glad that you could save the bra! I second Happy2BraShop suggestion. Wear a really old bra or black bra on hair dye day that you don't care too much about.
Also be careful when wash bras together. I once washed a nude bra together with teal BM malachit and the dye transferred. I could not get it all out again :S
