I started to notice that my bras weren’t fitting as well late last summer but assumed it was temporary. I thought I’d found good fits in both Comexim (80J) and Ewa (80G) bras, but have had to face facts and get resized. I described myself as centre full and FOB. I tended not to fill the top of cups and dealt with gaping at the top of the cup with fuller coverage styles.

More recently I’ve noticed that I’ve developed more upper fullness and am filling out bras that initially didn’t fit me well, including the Cleo Marcie, which I now fill completely in 36G. I recently ordered Comexim cups in 80L (Magic plunge and Mimi 3HC), that fit well although the apex is a little high for me in the plunge. This week I finally went to a store to get resized and ended up getting a Sculptresse Chi Chi in 36 GG and Ewa Plunge and SF style bras in 80GG. I have a SF style bra in 80G that I did not think I needed to size up on, but the bra is so much more comfortable in the larger cup size.

While I still need a bra that is FOB I have more upper cup fullness which has changed which bras work best for me. The increase in cup size more accurately reflects the cup size the A Bra that Fits size calculator showed (36GG/H). I did not believe the calculator when I first used it as I thought I was well fitted in 36F/FF bras, but here I am wearing 36GG. One thing I’ve realized, is that, because I have soft tissue, I can try on smaller cup sizes which initially seem to fit, but I need to try larger sizes to make sure I haven’t just displaced tissue. I’ve tried on so many bras that seem to fit, only to try them in larger cup sizes and still fill the cup but have the band feel more comfortable.

It has been quite a journey to find bras that fit me well. Panache and Polish styles still work best for me, but I’d be happy to hear recommendations for other styles to try that might work for my FOB but now with more upper fullness, centre full, soft breasts.
