Curvy Kate SS13 changes overview

I talked this topic in some of my previous adventures: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/3a1/adventures/1476/ and recently when I found out due trial and error (emphasis on error) that they also changed the cut of their SS13 bikinis: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/3a1/adventures/1779/

Now I did some further digging and have now gathered all information about changes:

Daily boost / Lola, padded bikinis: deeper cups, more supportive, more front and center projected shape, Bikinis are now „true to size“ means if one wears 2 cups smaller in the old ones, pick your usual CK bra size (in the new cut of course, duh) in bikinis too!

Princess, Lottie, Gia, Romance, Portia:
Lower gore, lower wires and wings, deeper cups, narrower wires

Smoothie:
band is now less stretchy

Tankini:
more support and uplift, more consistent sizing, tighter bands

Did you know about this? Was it common knowledge?
Couldn't they announce this officially somewhere? Like: "Dear Customers, we changed the fit of our bras and bikinis. Your usual size does now not work anymore. Happy return postage payment. Love, Curvy Kate"

Doesn't it annoy you if bras are changed that you used to fit in? Curvy Kate Bondi Breeze from SS12 was the best fit in a Bikini I ever had. I will now have to hunt the SS12 styles down on ebay and brastop.

  • I am also **extremely** annoyed about this, very very annoyed, I think it is very destructive that they do this.
The only "official" thing I've read was one tweet some months ago by Curvy Kate but nothing else. I've been planning to write about this and how this destroys bra fitting and makes customers loose trust in the brand.

  • So disappointed about the bikinis. I don't wear Curvy Kate bras because they seem to fit 1-2 cup smaller than other British brands, which means I'm outsized, but based on comments about last year's bikinis, I was considering getting one this year (I like the styles much better). Looks like it won't be happening...
