Bras in Beijing

I'm in Beijing for the summer and decided on trying some bras at the supermarket. They're absolutely gorgeous, almost all are super padded, as in the push up pads have push up pads, but they seem to be made to be super supportive. So, the largest cup size I could find was a C (in a 36 and higher band) and some of the bras don't even have a cup size (size 38 anyone?).

I tried on a 34 in a gorgeous green with a sheer overlay and a 36C in black. I should mention that I'm a 28FF/G. The green one has 3 hooks, but the straps are not adjustable. This one is padded lightly (no pushup thank goodness) and has no cup size. They both have multi-way straps (you can move them) which is nice under certain shirts. But this green one is a plunge. The cups are way too small, but I can imagine that if it was the correct size, it would fit amazingly. The sides are a good height for the size of the cup. It has side boning! Even though it is 6 inches too big in the band, it feels like it would stay in place all day. Of course since the cups are def. too small, I wouldn't wear it all day though. With me shaking and wiggling my boobs to look like it fits, they look great! This is a perfect plunge bra for a girl who is an actual 34C! (I'm guessing it's right about a C cup). Did I mention that it is absolutely gorgeous??

Now, to the black one. It has 4 hooks. On the tightest hook, this bra feels like a loose 30 band. It is about a cup (maybe 2) too small, but it has adjustable straps. Once again, very lightly padded, but it gives the look that the braologie model has on the site! The boobs are up in the center! It really looks similar to the bra the braologie model is wearing in black! The mesh side looks quite similar to my braologie bra, but is much more stretchy. It has lace covering it and is absolutely gorgeous, though not as high of quality as the braologie. Then it has little rhinestones in the center :).

Both of these bras are made to support, give vavooom cleavage, and keep the back smooth while looking gorgeous. If they made these bras in correct sizes, I would be in heaven!

I wish I knew where to look to find these in a larger range of sizes!

On a side note, I know these Asian girls I see around here with larger boobs are not a 36 ich and higher band! I know that the bra manufacturers have to put a lot of effort into making the bras look good when they don't fit. Why don't they just make them in better sizes (and keep these amazing styles)?

Also, I got the bras. They're not "public" bras though I wish they made them in my size so I could wear them more often!

  • I do love the way Asian bra brands construct their bras. The quality is high, they're sturdy, and they have all the right structural features (like boning and more than two hooks, as you mentioned). Size-wise, though, they do tend to be pretty deeply mired in the "bra matrix".

It would be pretty awesome if there was a brand that made Asian-style bras with a size range like Curvy Kate's or Panache's!

  • I pray for the day when UK brandss will start learning from asians. If they just took their bandsizes I could die happy.
How much did they cost btw? :)
