Bra Size Bikinis

Are they worth the cost?

I have a few bikinis which are not bra sized and to be fair, they are okay. However, I am thinking that a good bra sized one might be nice. However, they are £30 for top + £20 odd for the bottoms! I could find a matching bottom elsewhere, but even at £30 it seems quite steep for an item which is going to be abused by sun, sea and washing!

Have you got one, how long has it lasted, would you buy a bra sized bikini again?

  • Definitely worth the cost, if you can find one you like and that fits properly. The problem is that there are so few brands that make them compared to how many make unsized suits, especially if you want to try them on in the store. Even when I was wearing the wrong size it still fit so much better than the S/M/L sized options. The main difference is that they tend to be underwired, which gives better support but also holds the cups in place so you're not worried about which boob is going to pop out next.

  • Shop around, and don't be afraid to try sister sizes. I got a top at a discount store yesterday for $15 US in 36C (I usually wear tight 34D/ loose 32DD bras) that fits very well. If they had had it in my proper size, it may very well have been too tight. I've worn running shorts for bottoms for the last 20 years, so I'm no help there.
