Comexim Sizing .. HELP!!!!! :)

So a while back I ordered the Comexim Selene Biustonosz in 65E which was my normal Ewa size. I had been debating at the time what size to get from Comexim but went with the 65E vs 65F. However, when the bra came in it was at least a cup size too small or more - the gore didn't sit flat and if I S/S then it really was noticeable and just does not quite fit - though I do not quadboob I just don't have the gore anywhere near laying flat on me.

Upon looking at measurements of the Ewa 65E cup depth they average around 8.5 cm give or take a little bit, but the Comexim for 65F (there aren't many Comexim even listed, and none with measurements for 65E listed) has a cup depth about 7.5 give or take slightly. So, it was no wonder my Comexim 65E wasn't deep enough - and just looking at the cups I can tell it's not deep enough. Even the 65H is about the same depth and only when you go to HH does it jump to 8.7-9+.

So, before looking at the various sizing charts on bratabase I figured I'd just go up a cup size and maybe that would work. But, looking at the depth of the cups I'm wondering if I need to go up to at least the H? I hate to order one solo bra again just to test the size out since S/H is so pricey and I also hate to order like 3-4 of them and then they be too small again.

My underbust is 74cm loose, 72 comfortable, and 69 break the ribs.
My bust is 87cm (which put me at the full end of the E and loose end of the F according to their chart).
I originally picked the 65 instead of the 70 based on other recommendations on bratabase and reddit...and then picked the E based on the 87 cm.

Maybe instead of jumping from the E -> F -> G -> H cup try the G cup based on the depth charts on bratabase? I'm just nervous the F cup will be too small since I feel like the E cup was waaaay to small due to not being near deep enough.

Any suggestions? I really want to find my size in Comexim just to have another narrow root, beautiful bra company that is reasonably priced besides Ewa! :) And Comexim bras are beyond gorgeous and I hear more stable in the sizing department than EM is.

  • It's worth noting that Comexim uses European cup sizes, except for their weird HH instead of I cup thing. So you'd be missing a DD which is present in EM sizes. That would make their F cup the same as the EM E cup. I don't have personal experience with Comexim (I've been sized out since they've come onto the English-speaking bra scene), but I would say that the F (same as UK E) or G (same as UK F) are probably going to be a better bet for you.

Hopefully someone with a bit more experience with their bras can give some more specific advice.

  • As far as my experience goes with Comexim sizing... I typically wear either a 28GG or 30G in UK sizes. I found that 60J or 65HH works for me. I started off trying out a 65J Basic (170) that I got from another Bratabase user. I got it mostly because the cup depth and width measurements fell within what works for me. It is a little roomy except for my PMS days, then it's perfect. I ended up ordering two bras, one 60J - Comexim » Magic Blue and one 65HH - Comexim » Juliette. They both ended up fitting very similar, and I'm happy with them. I've since placed another order for a 60J Geisha set :)

From what I've read in various posts about Comexim sizing, it is best to use your regular band size and then figure out your cup size based off their charts.
