Body, WHY?

In Spring 2016 I had to start wearing my bras 2 band sizes too big because of heartburn. http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/12141/

...and a smaller cup so it wouldn't gape, which made me 34D instead of 30FF After a while I was down to 32E, and in the last week or so I've been able to wear 30F again. I thought it was just because I've been feeling healthier, but it turns out that my size may have changed to 28FF!!

It's so odd, I've weighed less than this in my life and never been a 28 band before. Maybe my stomach problems were making me bloat? Rixie clips are only $13 so it is worth a try to see if tighter is better.

Also I've been having shoulder ache and migraine problems. I couldn't get comfortable because if I wore a 34D boob-hat, my shoulders would ache from the weight of my boobs, but if I wore a 32E my spine and ribcage would start to hurt from the pressure. I wonder if I was actually having irritated tissue from a slightly too-loose band wiggling around my ribcage. Thankfully, the second round of Botox injections have kicked in so my muscles have relaxed. Chronic pain is always a struggle but I think I am finally winning!

  • I'm so pleased to hear you are feeling better!
If you have experienced even a little bit of breast growth, typically this means that your roots have grown in height rather than width (which changes relatively little compared to other dimensions) so the base of your breast root may now be located just a little bit lower on the ribcage, where you are smaller around. Very common phenomenon!

  • Oh, I didn't think of that! My breast base height measurement has gotten lower by about 1cm over the last year so I think you're right.
