Bra Wars ep. IV: Return of the Jehobra Witness.

So.

A couple of weeks ago, I pasted an article linking to epbot's bra-fitting on my facebook. A friend pasted an article about that horrible French study about being braless. I explained why it's not quite right - wrong bra size, yadayada, wire sitting on tissue, yadayada, sister sizing, yadayada. And she was like, 'oooh no wonder when I went to a bra fitter the fitter told me to go up a cup size if the bra doesn't fit!'

So I sent her a message with loads of text and links about bra fitting and how to measure yourself. She read it, but didn't reply. Life continues as usual.

The other day she stayed over at my house, and casually I asked her if she's willing to try a few of my bras, because they don't fit right on me. Clearly that's just an excuse so that I can gauge her reaction towards bra-fitting. And she went, 'oh yeah! The message you gave me................I'm not sure how to measure myself.' I whipped out my measuring tape and measured her. She has the exact measurement as I do before migration happens! 28G! I HAVE LOTS OF 28G/30FF BRAS FOR YOU TO TRY ON!!!! She wears 34C. Straight away I showed her how different 34C and 28G looked. She was ah-mazed.

She took my 30G Rhea and I taught her how to sw/coop. The band is okay, but from the fit of the cup I can tell she's FoB. So I asked her to try on my 30FF Miss Mandalay Paris. Perfect fit! However she feels the band is a little tight. She also fills nicely in my 30FF Panache Ariza and 30G Panache Sienna. 28G Cleo Lucy suits her very well. She loves the shape.

She saw my 28G Panache Sports Bra and was immediately interested. She put it on, jumped up and down and was amazed how it didn't budge or feel bouncy. We immediately ordered that bra for her on ebay that night. The next day she went to work wearing the Lucy bra, I asked her how it felt, she gushed "It feels good! I feel so light. It feels so weird because for once, my bra fits!"

By the end of the day I asked her again how it feels, she said that it still feels good, but a few hours after lunch, she feels the wire (or the band near the wire?) pinched her a little, but she adjusted it and all is well again. She's so happy and told her sister and said she should probably measure their mom.

Ahhh I'm so happy I managed to convert yet another friend! Her measurements are:
UB loose: 28"
UB snug: 27"
UB super snug: 25.5"
Bust standing: 34"
Bust standing: 35"
Full on bottom, her root is wider than mine, because there's no empty space on the side of Sienna whereas I have one and a half fingers worth of empty space.
