My Ewa S Porcelanka has come home

Silly me. I got in a big hurry to sell the bra, thinking it would never work. Kept sliding down, felt jiggly, and all the like. The band felt about right (with extender), wires felt too high, and I thought that was making it slide down. What a difference a few adjustments make.

I sold it to another member and it didn't quite fit her. Having regretted selling it so soon, I contacted her and asked if she wanted to sell it back to me. She did!!!

The first thing I did was take about 2 inches off the straps. They were and still are adjusted as short as they will go. I just safety pinned them for now, so when I actually make the adjustment I'll take more than 2 inches off. Wow. I'm not particularly short (5'6") so what is the deal? High set boobs? OR just WAY TOO LONG straps with limited adjustment?

Then I put the bra on, still with extender, but 2 rows tighter than before. And... voila - fitting bra. I must say, I like it better than the PL. With the cups/gore higher, it feels more secure in the cups.

I guess I'm one of those oddballs that can wear either the PL or S (probably because of my very soft, malleable breasts that will go anywhere you ask them to as long as you provide the support, LOL).

Being that some 36J bands in Ewa are too tight without an extender, I think I am going to go with sister size 38J. I would rather shorten the bands than wear an extender all of the time. But then again, the Stalowka stretched out in about 2 weeks and is wearable without the extender.

If anyone wants some PLs in 36JJ, they're going up for sale soon. :-)

  • Haha, that's so fun you sent the bra away and then regretted it and *then* altered it :D From the pics I actually love that bra on you. Also the color matches your skin tone very beautifully <3

  • The S Porcelanka, while it looks good, would look a lot better on me with a few alterations as well. The main one being taking off at least two inches off the straps. I'm nearly 5'7 but I do consider myself to have higher set boobs than 'average'. A lot of women have to alter Ewa bras, mainly the straps and the band, to get that perfect fit. It's a shame, really. Glad you got it to fit right!
