Real talk about squish

So: I'm fleshy but my underbust measurement doesn't seem to vary much. The fluff around it, though, does. My current best fit is a 36gg CHP and I was considering sizing up to a 38 band for a smoother look, until I noticed an ever-so-slight feeling of the 36 band creeping up on the widest hook. So I am wondering -- is it that just going to be the deal, back rolls for boob support? Can a bra lift without causing that denting? Is this a fit issue or a fact of life?

  • I went up a cup size or a cup and a half maybe, and tried going up a band but gave up. I'm wearing 32JJ in panache, and with such big, heavy boobs, I need a very tight band to support them - and it feels like the tight bands wont let the fat live there, it gets pushed out.

There are some bras that have less sharply constricting elastic and some that have more band coverage, and those sometimes squish less obviously. I looked over your bras and one of them you said gave you less armpit squish.

Mostly tho, the bra's purpose is to hold up the boobs, not as a smoothing undergarment, kwim?

  • True... although without the bra I don't need smoothing. :/ A longline is a good idea, I may try that. And I am not sure yet if I am into the right cup size, it looks so much better but is not perfect... I'm just trying to figure out what's possible.
