Recommendations for an unlined bra?

Usually I hate them because of the pointy deflated look they give, but I want to give unlined bras a try again and need some recommendations for sizes/styles to try. I would say I'm slightly full on top, or more that my boobs start higher up and end lower as well. There really isn't a whole lot of depth to them, which is why I prefer the moulded bras in UK brands because you mould to them rather than them to you. My shape sucks basically!

Unlined bras I've tried:
Freya Rio, Arabella, Pollyanna, all in 28F, the tops dig in and the center remains unsupportive - yeah, I know...orange-in-a-glass, unfortunately wider and shallower cups are too shallow. I was able to try Monet (I think? it was last year, kind of a pink, red, orange watercolor with green lace at the top) but in 28E, wasn't allowed to scoop properly, it was cutting in and the point was even worse. Retro full coverage, 30E, same problem, and the cups were unusually small!

Fantasie Karly, Bridgette plunge, Bridgette basque, 30E. The plunge was way too small, Karly wasn't as bad but it's too small now and I don't think I work well with plunges from this brand. The basque actually fit quite well in the cup, very rounded, I'm guessing this is because it's a balcony so a bit more full coverage. BUT...I'm noticing on my larger boob it's cutting in, more pointy. Most 30's in this brand are huge but the basque has a stretch of 28" so I'm able to wear it better. Plus it's longline so it's harder for the wider band to move around. I have tried Belle, but again...it was in store in 30D, DD and E. Wasn't allowed to scoop properly but I could tell (last year, 5-8 pounds ago) that the E would have fit, the band was too large though.

Panache Harmony 28F. If I weighed 105 it would probably fit, but right now it's at least 2 cups too small. I liked the shape it gave when I was thinner but I cannot wear a partial banded bra because of health reasons.

Various bras from the M&S Ceriso range, 30DD and E. Too pointy and wide set for straps, uncomfortable materials.

I feel like there may have been others, but those are the most I remember.

Right now I think I'm bordering on needing a cup up based on how my current bras are fitting. I know I need balcony/full coverage over plunge because of where my breasts start at the top (and there is muscle too so this makes it worse). I would *prefer* a cup with vertical seams only, but the only brand I can think of that makes this is Chantelle and their 30's fit like 34's. Any advice? TIA! =)

  • So cleo unpadded seem logical. If you can get your hands on a cleo george or lizzie, I think you might enjoy those very much. Alexa and meg would also do, panache andorra also.
And hm bras from ewa michalak would I think work ;)
Put up your cm so we can be more helpful with the sizing.

  • I use inches, so let's see if I can convert this properly.

    Full bust (leaning over): 91.5
Underbust loose: 66 / Very tight and completely exhaled: 61
Breast perimeter: 23.5 to 24 for the larger breast, 23 for the smaller.

I remember I DID get to try on the George at the bad fitting but they didn't have any in a larger cup. I haven't been seeing them online. I'd rather not do international shipping, I haven't had good experience with it and I would be losing a lot with returns, so BBB and EM are out of the question =/

Thank you for those suggestions so far, I'll see if I can find some! =)
