I'm not ignorant, just stubborn (and also a bra shopoholic!)

I know how a bra should fit, yet I have this bad habit where I buy things that I know won't fit because I want them. My "average" bra size is a 30HH.
Examples:

My 30GG decos are fine in the band but the cups are too small.
My 32GG decos ride up on the tightest hook, but the cups fit well.
I am in love with how the deco looks on me, so I settle for the imperfect fit. (I am planning to alter the 32GG bands so we will see how that goes. The 32GG Ocean really hurts my armpits, but the Firecracker Honey is so comfortable- It's slightly taller and narrower. Go figure, huh?)

I just bought a 30H Cleo Sadie Longline even though 30H is too small for me in the Juna family. It's the closest I will come to a well-fitting longline so I'm settling for quadboob.

I am still searching for a Cleo Rihanna in a 30H or 32H even though I'll quadboob in a 30H and the band will ride up and the cups will cut off my armpits in a 32H.

I'm not impressed with my bikini options in my size range, so I am looking for 32GG and 34G bikinis. The bikini I wear the most is a 34FF I altered down.

Every time I see a bra that stops at a G cup sold in a 34G I consider getting it. I've never actually acted on this impulse though so I'll give myself a little self-control credit here. This mostly applies to Masquerade, Parfait by Affinitas and Freya Longlines and Half Cups.

I've been looking for a Mulberry Masquerade Rhea in 30H/32GG/32H forever and might buy it in a 30GG I found since this quest has been quite unsuccessful.

My biggest problem with sister sizing up in the band besides the obvious is that the cups are always too wide for my frame and cut off my arms :/

Can anyone relate to this or is it just me?

  • I can totally relate to the sister sizes trying to amputate my arms ;_; this seems to especially occur with Freya bras.

Also I'm jealous that you managed to track down the Sadie longline :D I'd love to find that in a 30G or GG.

  • I never thought I would find it! I found it on the Facebook group called Clothes for Boobs Buy/Sell/Chat/Share Page. You should join if you haven't already! This might hurt to hear, but the person I bought it from was also selling a 30GG but someone claimed it.
