Lingerie Strappy Looks?

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I am one of those obsessive binges where I cannot stop looking for strappy accessories. This landed me in the lingerie harness section of etsy, and I found some aesthetics I really liked (like Sophie Hines - pretty lines and not really a hardcore bondage look LOL). I am very cheap and decided I would just buy elastic and rings myself and make this stuff on my own - plus with my own designs, which I'm drawing obsessively because that's how I am. The goal is to make pretty/sleek designs that aren't obnoxious under clothing, if that makes sense - so no one would look at you funny. I am super excited to get my elastic in the mail now AHH.
I guess I am just posting to tell you all that I am indeed alive and am extremely excited to get to work on this project. I'm hoping to get some suggestions for what colors or shapes would match certain bras (like our colorful Cleo friends and then - what do you do to fancy up a beige bra, like the Comexim Basic, which is....basic?? what colors do you guys think??) and I will try to get good pictures once I make something that isn't a horror to look at lol.
I've been lurking in the shadows for a while, but now that the semester is winding down, I hope to be way more active. I've missed y'all!

  • I have been obsessed with the look myself . So last night I got out the craft supplies and made a first run of removable straps for my bra with some pretty jewelry findings ,ribbon and hook and eyes . Looks awesome , so pretty but in today's wearing was a failure . I should have used elastic for more flexible movement I had ugly gaping at times . Almost there though . I like the idea of sometimes you have them and sometimes not .

  • @ivp - That sounds like a good start though! How did you construct it? Where did it attach to the bra? I'm interested in making one of those for myself too - since we don't always want extra straps on our bras lol.
