Bra frustration

This post is quite negative. I’m sorry for that but I have to rant a bit. I’d love to be more positive but sometimes I just can’t.

I’m so frustrated with my bras right now. Panache Harmonys wires were trying to kill me and now I have bruises and deep red marks all over my ribcage and under my arms. :(
I wore the bra on a train ride of 3 hours today. I have never been so glad to take the bra off at home. Putting on my Tango was a relief.

But also my beloved Tango does annoy me lately. If I’m honest with myself, I’m having slight quadraboob in this bra :( It’s not severe and everything else about the bra is good but I’m annoyed that it does not fit perfectly anymore. Otherwise I’m very worried that one size bigger (30K) just will be too big. On the 30JJ I have to adjust the straps all the way to get a decent fit. If only the top section of this bra would be a bit more roomy!

I don’t feel happy with any of my bras right now besides my altered Panache Ariza. I know, I should be happy that I at least have bras that fit decently and I rather wear the Tango for the rest of my life than no bra or a badly fitted 36E (I don’t want to go back to the terrible back pain) but Is that too much to ask for some (beautiful) bras that also fit perfectly?!
The Tango is cute but also a bit boring. I’d like to have some other (prettier) bras too that fit me. What am I doing wrong? Am I asking for too much? Should I be happy that at least one bra fits more of less in my size?

  • :( ... Of course you should be happy to have a bra that fits you, but you definitely shouldn't feel like that's all you should get! You deserve better! You deserve to have the same options that smaller-busted women do! :( Such a shame that there's such a slim selection in the 30JJ-30K territory... I'm really hoping someone steps forward and helps you, because I'm not too good in "that" field =/

  • :( I know how it feels. What I've came to realise is that there is no bra that fits anyone perfectly apart from the fit model. Every other bra on every other person has it's quirks and issues. Before starting a bra fitting journey we think that is how a bra is supposed to fit. Then we get releaved when we get to hear that bras are not supposed to hurt and that there is that perfect bra out there for us. And we find bras that are so so much better. But the more we learn the more we realise that these weren't perfect either...
