I could swear I had posted something today! Weird.

Anyway, I have used by voucher and ordered a peach Parfait Charlotte (sizing up as everyone here advised me!) and a Masquerade Capella. Yay!!!! They were posted on Monday, which means they'll take about two weeks to arrive! I am also expecting an exchange of the Panache Sports (one cup smaller).

BUT... I received a sales e-mail today and am seriously considering buying a Freya Taylor. The Taylor is a variation of the Deco, and people often have sizing problems with it (including me). So, for the people who have the regular Taylor, how is the sizing compared to other Freyas? For example, I've got a Deco strapless in 34E and a longline Piper in 34F and both serve me well. Does the Taylor run more like the Deco or the other Freyas?

  • A lot of people say the taylor runs a size smaller than the normal deco but I disagree. I have normal deco in f cup and taylor in ff cup, and the taylor is bigger than the normal deco, it's not quite a cupsize bigger so I don't think it runs quite true to size I think it just runs a tiny bit big, compared to the normal deco which runs about a cup big.

I also have a just flew in longline, in ff, which might be similar to the piper longline. The Taylor is a bit bigger than the just flew in, but not massively.

I used to have a deco strapless and I found that it run a bit more true to size than the deco plunge, as in the 28e strapless fit me when the 28e plunge was too big.

From my personal experience I'd say get the same size in the taylor as you have in the longline, maybe a size bigger than you have in the strapless, that's what works for me.

  • Arashi, the real difference between the Taylor Strapless and the Deco Strapless is that the former has a ribbon along the edge of the cup which stops the cups from stretching with wear the same way the Deco strapless does. Because of that it will seem to run slightly smaller in the cup, even though it is more or less the same in the actual construction. If you're inbetween sizes in the Deco Strapless, go for the smaller one in Taylor. Otherwise I would suggest the same size. (The same goes for even the slightest bit too small, if your Deco is just the tiniest too small, size up for taylor in the cup).
