Bra sizing confusion..

I am so confused by all of this!
So I was measured by 3 different stores (2 different VS and that Lane Bryant one) as a 34 F. I just measured myself and got a 32 G? Which, to me, seems waayyy too tight in the back, the 34 feels like it's pushing it in some bras..but I realized I do have some extra chub hanging out along my pits in the two bras I have that are 34 Fs. I measure 32 band and 39 bust (naked, non dangling boobs :P), but when I let the girls go a bit and rub my ribs near where the extra chub sits, I measure about 43 inches. This is all so confusing..I have never felt comfortable in a bra before, ever, and the closest I've gotten is the bra I recently got from Intimacy, which, now I'm not sure if it is even the right fit for me, since the gore doesn't sit as flat as I thought it did...

blah.

  • Too small cups can make the band feel too small as well.

  • I totally get your confusion. Simone Perele is a French brand, so your EU 75F is equal to a UK 34E or US 34DDD. It is very hard to get sizes right in the beginning.

But considering your measurements, I find it is highly likely that UK 32FF/G(/GG) is indeed your size. I guess the 34DDD you have now is about 2 cups too small and not the right shape in the cup.

My tip would be to put on one of the bras you entered in reverse. Twist the bra so that the cups are in the back and close it in front. This way you can test the length of the band without being influenced by too small cups.

The band needs to be tight enough to take the full weight of your breasts even when you jump.
