Still feeling the aftermath of Cleo Karen's attempt to saw my arms off yesterday. I thought it fit fine, but the cups come up to high or too wide (???) and cut right into the front of my armpit area. This is becoming a common problem I am finding- straps or tops of cups that cut into my arm/pec area. I've tried a few different brands and different shapes. Freya half cups feel the best comfort-wise at the moment, but the straps rub my pec/armpit in my 34FF Freya Patsy, and my other Freya half cup (34F) seems like the straps are too long all of a sudden.

I'm getting miffed and don't know how to fix this. I feel like after all the steps I've taken forward, I am now traveling backwards. Maybe I need to start over and go back to the drawing board.

  • Straps and pecs colliding is a very very common problem. In these cases the shape of the armhole of the bra is usually the problem. There is no easy fix for it - apart from trying on a lot of bras.

  • Have you tried any Ewa Michalak CHP bras? The Brzoskwinka is really low-cut, so the strap-cup attachment point is actually on your boob rather than in your armpit. It's the only bra I have that doesn't cut into my arms. The Stalowka and Fiolek appear to have the same shape, but the ones with lace (Milady, etc) are different.
