Ewa Michalak Rave & Rant
So, despite Dominik's best efforts to thwart me, I managed to order S. Fresh and HM Gold a few weeks ago, both in 30GG. They arrived today (the only silver lining in a horrible day).
First, the rave: S. Fresh is PERFECT. It's like it was crafted around my boobs. I tend to be fairly forgiving on fit issues, since I can't return any bras (return postage is way too high), but here there was nothing to compromise on.
The rant: HM Gold's band is so small I need TWO EXTENDERS to close it! That's SIX extra rows of hooks & eyes!!!
This is my 4th EM 30 band. CH Lato just closed (I would have needed an extender to wear it comfortably if the cups hadn't been too small). CH Onyx is as loose as any of my 32 bands (in EM and other brands) and very stretchy. S. Fresh, as I mentioned below, is just right (this is making me think of Goldilocks and the 3 bears).
Where is the quality control? How can 4 bras from the same brand with the same band size on the label have such a huge range of lengths?
I haven't had a chance to measure yet, but I'll update once I do.

That's crazy. This is why I keep talking myself out of buying EM bras at the moment. The risk is just too high that I'll get stuff that don't fit. I see they're now charging extra for custom orders too.
Ugh, tell me about it. I've had EM 32 bands that were both far too big (CH Toffik) and barely fastenable (HM Magnolia). Same with their 30 bands: ranging from too loose (HP Cielus) to requiring two extenders (CHP Mak). Their sizing is very inconsistent.
I know what you mean about a bra feeling like it was made for you, though. A lot of EM bras are like that, if you get the sizing right.
