About me: FOB, short roots, narrowish roots, centre full close set, somewhat splayed, pendulous yet high set.
This technically fits me, one of the few bras with little to no gaping at the tops of the cups for me. The gore is a tad too wide and this becomes uncomfortable after a few hours. I also found the straps way too long and had to tighten them quite a bit. The shape isn’t my favourite, I feel like there isn’t enough lift and it minimizes. but it does work well under shirts that aren’t very tight.
I’ve read that older Freyas have large bands but not this one, it is TTS. Material is firm but comfortable. I do like the pattern it’s quite pretty. I will say that when I wear this one my boobs don’t move at all!
This bra is said to run generous in the band, which I didn't find immediately, but after some months I was fastening it on the tightest hook. Perhaps I need to go down a back size?
I have wide, high-set, shallow-profile, separate breasts. This bra held them up (almost straight up) and was the most comfortable plunge bra I've tried. No poking, no quadra-breast. Rounded cups fit amazingly. The mold gives nipple modesty (yes, modesty in a plunge bra!).
Edit: after several months of ownership I will again attest to the stretchiness of the band.

I like the style and the band fits well, I'm going to try a smaller cup size.

This is and my Freya Fearne are my first bras to actually fit! Yay! I was wearing a bra size too big, and I finally decided to take the plunge to try something that the Bratabase recommended. It recommended three discontinued Freya half cups (Freya Tartan was one of them). So I looked at which half cups that had similar measurements/the same cut that weren't discontinued. This bra fits slightly less structured than the Fearne, but that isn't too much of a concern for me, it still holds me in and fits comfortably. It's smooth under clothes, gives nice lift, perfect width and is generally perfect!
- Band is a bit loose - Gore fits nicely - Cups perfectly fits my larger side - Straps are fine - Wire feels good but sits best when fastened on the middle hooks - Padding is soft & seams are softly covered. - Material is nice. Lace is soft the foam is not scratchy - Visibility: no texture or lines showing under a mid-weight sweater, seams show on a super-thin t-shirt.

- Band is a bit snug, but not uncomfortable - Gore is a bit wide (15/16 in) - Cups are too big, I can pinch out a 1/2" pleat (~1" total) in the top cup then the shape "starts" to fill in - Straps had to be so tight that my underarm chafes, and it still doesn't fill the cup volume - Wire feels snug, maybe U-shaped? Long @ 11.5" - Material is nice. Lace is almost like a plastic mesh which doesn't seem to catch as bad as lace and the performance knit is a soft alternative to power mesh

If I downsize the cup I am concerned I would end up with a narrower wire which not be more comfortable and a too-snug band. The gore feels wide and might be coming up too high on my sternum.'
Not sure if the balcony style is right for me.

This bra gave me an overly pointy shape and just didn’t provide enough support. I think it would work better for even fullness or full on top. Also found the material to be rough.
As all longline bra, this one is very comfy. The front side of band is firm, from cups to hooks it is elastic. It scratches a little on skin when your skin is dry. The cup seems to be little larger then F cup of Freya bras I own/owned. The straps are soft and wide. I find this bra to be (was when it was my size) favourite because of wide longline band and soft padding.
FYI: this is a half cup that is cut like the Patsy, not like the Totally Tartan.
im a little torn on the fit of this bra. i do see the littlest bit of quad boob, mostly on my right side. the gore floats the tiiiiniest bit at the very top, and if i hold it down the overspill becomes a little more apparent. and if i shove the wires so they are in the empty channel space at the underarms and not in the gore (which i like to do because it helps contain more side tissue, and most gores are too wide and high anyway) i *definitely* ...have quad boob. the band is most comfortable on the tightest hook, so i think i will be trying to find this in a 32FF or 32G so i can get the most wear out of it, possibly with an extender. otherwise, it seems fairly good in the fit. i think it probably doenst have enough lower projection for me, because i can sort of feel the wires wanting to tilt? im not sure what that means, but i would guess a projection issue. who knows!
one MAJOR improvement in this cut from the patsy: the fabric! so much more comfortable. patsy has this weird, rough fabric that even makes the straps. as a consequence, the straps on patsy were murder for me. they scrape and scratch and ugh, awful. the straps on these are made of a thick and soft elastic, with the pattern of the cup continuing onto the front them. they appear to be fully adjustable as well, big plus there. the band is made of the same pattern, but a thinner mesh just like patsy where it has a band of elastic at the top and bottom of it. i wish it were a thicker fabric with uniform elastic, because these types of elastic bordered bands arent the most appealing on a squishy back. thats minor, though.
appearance wise, i actually really love this print! i thought id hate it, but i was only getting this as part of a size-check order and didnt care too much about looks. the tiny cottages read as an interesting geometric from far away, but up close are adorable. i think the color scheme of grey scale with tiny sherbert-orange details helps keep it from being too cutesy and weird. i would really like to see more unique designs like this, especially in nearly-neutral patterns like this. The back is likely stretched out slightly, I close it on the middle hooks vs the first set in a 34FF Deco. But otherwise, it's perfect.
1 - It really is a nice t-shirt bra.
2 - Nothing escapes all day.
3 - It's narrow enough in the straps so they aren't directly in my armpits and poking all day.
4 - The underwire isn't painful, which is a frequent issue for me.
My only gripe is the 2 hook back. 3 or 4 hooks people, 3 or 4. 2 is pointless past a B cup, so even with the band tight enough that I can't get 2 fingers under it, it creeps up because hey, big boobs pulling down eventually wins.
But, the rest of it is so comfortable, so I just pull it down in back a few times a day.
Overall, it's a little plain, but it is a t-shirt bra. But would it hurt to give this a nice little pinstripe detail or some cute simple pattern instead of just big and beige?
Firstly: I like my bras to sit tight and firm in the day and get rid of them while I'm slacking. This is absolutely no slacking bra. Instead it's a bra that's really steady and gives a lot of support.
My shoulders are sloping and the band does not come off.
There are almost no stretch before wearing them a year or two. To me they fit like they were customized for updressing.
Underwires seem wide enough but just barely. I get a tiny amount of wrinkling along the underwire but it is hardly noticable, MUCH less than most other bras I have tried. I love this fit and it is actually comfortable enough that I look forward to putting it on! My only gripe is that the gore is a teeny bit too wide and sits on abut half a centimeter of breast tissue combined. I don't have time to worry about that but it does get a tiny bit itchy in the middle as a result. Still love it enough to wear it for a 12 hour shift at work!
Super cute and comfy! Think the cup size is too big. Still getting the hang of this whole thing. Everything fits great except for the top. Even comfy with the lack of fit!
My absolute favorite bra. I am deeply saddened that it is no longer available. The models described as being like it from other brands just aren't the same. This bra gave my naturally pointy shape just enough roundness without being flattened in front. The wires were wide enough to encapsulate all of my tissue. The cups short enough to give me cakes on a plate and not show under my clothing. And I like shirts with a lot of decolletage so that's saying something. The band and wires and fabric were comfortable. The fabric made me feel cute. I love this bra so much.
It fits me well, the band has an edge that bothers me a little, but I hope it’ll soften with washing. The cups are pretty stiff but work fine enough for me. I do get a little bit of a line under tight shirts but it’s better than quadboob.
It's a beautiful looking bra with a nice pattern and soft cups with smooth fabric. It's specifically designed to provide side support, which I thought I could use. But honestly, this size was wishful thinking to start with. It's clealry too wide in the band for me. In addition, I can't quite filled out the cups on the inside, towards to gore, so there's a bunch of vertical wrinkles. Nice bra, not for me.
Strange back closure with only one hook on the 34F. I was a little worried it would hurt but it closes ok. Note that Freya says it is a US34G and not a 34DDD. Might explain why the cups are slightly too big at the top for me.
