Got this pre-owned, and I'm in love! For me there is just the teensiest bit of quadboobing, but this is honestly the best fitting bra I've ever owned. I feel like I could sleep in it! It has a great lift, too.
this is my first Freya and i really like the bra. the cups make my breasts a bit pointy. the bra itself stays put around my back and doesn't drift up. my only complaint is that the straps are a bit long and i fear that when they stretch a bit i will not be able to shorten them enough.
This is a bra that is known for running shallow. I've seen it recommended for shallow boobs with a broad base so I figured I might as well put the bra up here and do my review. I have three Freya Retro 34F worn to death. This might be a tad more pointy than the others.
I've worn this bra for years. I didn't exactly scope when I used it however, which is now pretty obvious considering my cleavage and quadboob in this bra.
But the more disturbing thing is this: The cups could easy be flatter on me without compromising comfort.
To make this bra sit flat I would need to have a 32band, tighten the straps like madness and size up in cups. But by then I would have wire distortion from Gehenna.
Band fits well on 2nd hook. Not a new item, so band is stretched out - but perfect for me. Cups encase tissue okay, but wish band was wider as there is some boob escape under the arm. When I hold tissue in place, cups are filled perfectly. As is, there is some room at the top of cup, but it won't show under clothing. This is a better fit than the new 34 E I will be listing soon. This bra is comfortable as is and needed as my basic plunge bra until I find a better fit.
I bought this in both black and beige about 6 months ago. They've become my default bras for everyday wear. I've noticed the fit varies greatly depending on my cycle, and what my posture is. If I'm using the computer, I notice that the top of the cup gets a bit loose, and if I'm paying attention to posture, it's almost quadboob. The center gore is very low, and took a bit of getting used to as I was worried about popping out (which never happened) I love this bra except for 1 problem, the straps tend to loosen with wear. I have checked (by marking with a gel pen on the strap) and they do slide by the end of the day. They've weathered being washed, and haven't stretched too much.
I got this bra from Nordstrom when I first got measured, and it fit right. Now, it doesn't fit as good because the band has stretched out a bit and my boobs have gotten bigger. The straps are set kind of far apart, and the lacy bits (for lack of a better word) can become uncomfortable when you aren't used to it. The seams on the cup are visible through shirts, so not a t-shirt bra at all. Overall it's comfortable and I'd recommend it to someone. I'm bad at writing these things.
This is an attractive sexy bra that provides lift. The molded cup keeps everything in place and comfortable. The only issue with this bra is that the lace and ribbon that is stitched on the top of the cup shows an indent when wearing it. (Maybe I should have gone a cup size up?)
I have this bra in two solid colors, fuchsia & beige with out the lace/ribbon detail and love it. My first was the fuchsia, which the wire is coming out of the stitching after owning it for 1 year. It wasn't enough to stop me from purchasing it in the beige color.
This was by far my best bra for years as it was so soft. The form was absolutely amazing. But it's isn't that durable. On that respect Polyanna is more sturdy.
Honestly, this bra is not a great fit for me. The underwires stabbed me in the chest, there was room in the cup, and the wires came away from my body at the bottom. I bought it anyway and bent the wires to give the bra a broader shape, and it seems to have resolved some fit issues, though I still wouldn't say this is a super comfy bra.
I now call this bra my "holy hell, look at my cleavage" bra. It's a cup size to small, which gives me a bit of quadraboob, but it's not too extreme. Back when I bought this bra, I never wore it much because I wasn't as comfortable with the plunge cups. I get my wear out of it now under low cut tops/dresses. I love the details on the bottom of the band and the flower pattern
The good thing about this bra is that its a strapless I can wear (!) and have some much needed support. The bad thing is that it doesnt fit as well without straps as it does with. There isnt as much support as I would like, the shape is downsloping. The top of the cup is full and there isnt quadboobing but there is a good deal of breast at the top that just isnt contained, as well the bottom of the cup seems to fold over and crease. The back fits well and stays where it should, overall it works but it isnt perfect.
I just bought this bra after being re-fitted again. It fits me great and is really comfortable. It also gives my breasts a bit of a lift, which is always welcome
Oh wow, that pattern is really pretty. I might have to look for that one!
