Bra fitting help » Wrong shape for the bra?
Freya » Deco Moulded Soft Cup Bra (4231) » 28E 28:6
The band size feels right on me, straps are comfortable, but I don't seem to fill out the cups. Lots of spare room in the top. I'm guessing my chest is the wrong shape for this style of bra? Maybe it's for someone with a closer-together set? Weird because I have another molded-cup style bra that fits perfectly.

helpfulIt's possible that the cups are too shallow (as is common for non-wired bras) and/or your breast tissue is too soft for this bra to be a good fit, but I might try this in a cup size down (28DD). I see you fit well in other bras that are 30DD/28E; however, Freya does typically run about a size larger than other UK brands in many of their models, so sizing down to 30D/28DD wouldn't be unusual!
Because this bra is non-wired, the gore can't lie flat against the sternum (so that isn't a fit issue), and you need cup compression (rather than the boundary/shaping of underwires) to create lift and a rounded shape.

helpfulIt seems shallow and your perimeter is larger than the cup depth so you might want to try a deeper cup or if you like the extra cleavage and you like the bra you could adjust the strap a little to give you more lift maybe?

That all makes sense! I think I'll stick to wired as I've had good luck with them lately. Thanks :)
