Bra fitting help » Not sure if too big or wrong shape, or what alternatives there are for this one.

Nothing about this bra works for me - band is massive, I can legitimately fit both fists between me and the band on the tightest hook.
The wires are too wide and tall and uncomfortable, gore doesn't tack. I have a bit of room at sides and the cup is soft but not quite folding or wrinkling at the bottom. But the top edge already cuts in at the top of my larger breast.
The seller recommended just going down a band size but I -really- don't think it's going to solve the issue with this one given just how big it is on.

helpfulSo based on your measurements it looks like you are a 38 band or maybe even a 36 (use an extender at first?) if you want it to be very snug. Based on the amount of wrinkling in the cup from the side view, the cup size looks like you can also go down at least one cup size, but it will be easier to gauge once you get in the correct band size.
I'm currently in the process of finding my correct size and fit, and I started with a much larger cup and band than I needed. Now when I'm trying those same styles on in a much smaller size, I'm amazed at how differently they feel! I noticed that you and I appear to be similarly shaped. So if you like the bra and want to keep trying the fit, I think it really could work well for you.

helpfulMy favorite bra is the elomi Morgan in 32h uk, but it’s a cup size too small. I ordered 32hh on eBay. The Kiera bra has deep cups and band. 40O is too big and too tall on you. You should give the Morgan a try in 38JJ or 36K uk. Good luck. I hope this helps.
