Issue resolved
Style is not for me.
Original problem
So I got this bra in a 28GG because the Cleo Juna which is a very similar style fitted me perfectly.
However, in this one I get pretty bad quadraboob on my right boob to the point where the bra is leaving a mark on the tissue. The band is definitely a bit too tight but with an extender (as hopefully the captions on the photos will demonstrate!) I still get a bit of bulging.
The central gore also does not lie completely flat, but I think this might be more to do with my boobs being quite close set and the angle of the wire.
Despite the bulging on the right the left boob seems quite happy. So really my question is whether I should keep this one (as the fit on my Juna got better as I wore it, but I didn't have any bulging), size up to a 28H (or try a 30GG?) or admit the style isn't for me and just get another Juna in a different colour!
Thanks

helpfulMy fit issues are similar and I've learned a couple of "tricks" recently that really help me. I'm a huge fan of Juna but I haven't yet tried Maddie. It seems there are so few bras available for those of us who are full on the bottom and the sides, yet, when lifted in cups, get some upper breast fullness. Cups are either gaping open and we can't fill them, or get jiggly, or the cups are closed and give us quad-boobs! I recently learned a couple of "tricks" that have helped me fit better into cups that cut in.
Your Marcie seems like it could be a good fit for your shape (I love the color!), but I think you're wearing it too low on your torso, and too tight around the band. Loosen the hooks by at least one setting, and maybe loosen the straps a little bit as well. Then grab the center gore and pull upward until you feel it "fit" into your inframammary folds, at the bottom of your breasts.
When I do with with my Juna and balconettes, it sort of "tips" the cups forward. This stops them from cutting into my tissue and allows more of it to flow into the bottoms of the cups. This way I get good support from the bottom of the cups, without any pressing into my torso.
When you try this, at first it feels like you're cinching your boobs under your jaw, but after you move around a bit, and break in the bra a bit, it all "falls into place."

helpfulI keep seeing this everywhere, so sorry if I sound like a broken record, but you're wearing your bra too low. Pull it up. The band will probably feel even tighter. My guess is that a 30G will be your size in this if you wear your bra at the correct height.

To me your bra looks like it is in the right place!...most people are wearing bras too high (because they are wrongly adding 4/5" to their under bust measurement), bras are meant to sit lower down..you've got it right!
The gore looks like it's not quite flush with your body and if you are bulging with one breast you need to go up a cup size and put padding in the cup for the smaller breast to even things out. The band may be slightly lose on you if the gore is not flush so try a 26 band (so you'd need to go up yet another cup size than you'd need to for this bra you're wearing)...or you can buy a gadget that you add to your bra to tighten it (a 'Rixie Clip')...though bear in mind when the bra band tightens you'll usually need a bigger cup (as happened to me).Oh yes, and the other way you know your bra band is sitting in the right place (so lower down!) is that you get no 'fat back'...bulges of fat around the band..because the band is sitting in the wrong place to high up!...you have none of those bulges, so it shows you've got your bra band in the right place :)

Furrybuns I'm sorry, but what benefit does wearing your bra low have? Putting the wires directly under your inframammary fold (which is much higher than people seem to think) gives the best support. For a year I wore 28 bands (which is +0 to my BTT measurement) and I find that I get better support when I wear loose 30 and tight 32 bands up high right under my breast.
The band can sit low, I'm not talking about the band. It's the placement of the cups that worries me.
I'm sorry, but this sounds like unsound advice. The cups just shouldn't sit low.

helpfulThe Maddie is known for running very small in the cups. Most reviews I've read said to size up 1-2 cups.
You should always aim to fit your larger breast. You can then shorten the strap on the smaller side, or if the difference is very noticeable, add some additional padding to that side.
As others have said, you would benefit from wearing the bra a little higher. Once you have scooped and swooped, hold the underwire of each cup and 'shimmy' it up a bit. You'll find the fit changes significantly!

helpfulYou have the same problem as I FOB. Which makes getting a good fit a bit of a challenge. The cups are to small using a bra extender won't help with that issue. Maybe as you say, trying a 30GG will fit better. Hope this helps.

helpfulYou have the same issue that I have FOB which makes finding proper fitting bra a real challenge.
It seems that the cup size is to small,a bra extender won't help. As you suggest trying a 30GG may fit better.Hope this helps.

Oh wow you just completely hit the nail on the head with the issues I get! I couldn't understand the jigglness and fullness I get at the top in quite a lot of bras despite being fuller on the bottom!
I tried what you said and it did make quite a lot of difference. My left smaller boob fit perfectly but the right and central gore is still not very happy. But the adjustment made me realise it seems that the tissue on the sides, while encased is pulling the gore away from my chest in the middle to the point where I can put a finger underneath the wire that is meant to be encasing my breast tissue (something I've now realised seems to be the main issue I get in a lot of bras!). Do you think going a band up might give a bit more space on the side?
Thank you so much for the boob epiphany though! :)
