Issue resolved
Need smaller band, bigger cup.
Original problem
I'm not sure if the cups are too big or if they're creased from shipping. The bra was flattened & has definite bulges where the creases were. Is this something that will relax over time or is this just the wrong bra/size for me? The band seems to fit well on the 2nd set of hooks although I could tighten to the 3rd, but I felt like it gave me more armpit/back fat. Suggestions?

helpfulhi.... this bra seems partly fit to you...
i think if you done one cup down then it would more fit to you...
cup is not perfectly full around your boobs...it might got fit.

If u tighten the straps then it wont work out...it make your fitting uncomfortable...u got problem on ur shoulder due to weight of boobs in breast....its bras is stretchy thats why you are not geting prob with band more...if you chose 34 DD it would help you out also....
like band is not a prob...cup fitting would more precise with lower band....

helpfulYou definitely need a smaller band if the maximum stretch of this band is 47 inches?? Are you sure this is right? If you could remeasure that would be good.. In case you might have typoed and it really is 37 inches.
I think you might need wider cups, judging from picture 4 and 5, the wire could go back a bit more.. but that's a personal preference sometimes.

Not a typo. It's a VERY stretchy bra.

If you can take the band in a bit, I think the cups might fit better, maybe even a bit small once the band is snug.
I find this tutorial very helpful:

helpfulHi,
Bra cups are actually too small. The picture with your underarms? That should be all moved inside the bra cups.
The band size is too tight now, but it might be ok after you move all the breast tissue you have lost to your underarms. After you moving all that tissue back to your breast, the circumference of your body should be smaller, looking slimmer.
Always plan ahead when you see breast tissue in your underarms and leave a little gap in your bra cups. Doing the swooping motion, over time all that tissue will fill up your cups. If you have a full fit now, you won't be able to move it.
Cheers.

I need to do a 2nd set of pics. In pic #2 I adjusted dramatically & lost all the underarm fat (into the cup). Band feels a lot looser now. However, the back fat is just that. Back fat. I've unfortunately gained a bunch of weight due to medical issues & gone from a small C to DD cup over the past 3 or so years. I also have scars from armpit to top of shoulder on both sides from 3 shoulder surgeries & that creates a pucker right there.

I have been playing around with the fittings. I tightened the straps significantly & that helped, but now the band feels loose. It's not riding up badly, but I can easily get my hand sideways back there on the tightest setting. This bra seems to have a super stretchy band ...
