Didn't fit

This is my third size in the Curvy Kate Florence, a bra that I used to really like until I sized out of my 30Ds. The original 30Ds fit me really well when I was a 28DD/30D size, but since my cup size increase, I've been having trouble finding the right fit.

I tried 30DD a few months ago, but the bra I ordered was too loose in the band, so it didn't sit right and it gapped in the upper cup. One challenge I always have with Curvy Kate bras is that the underwires tend to be so short, especially compared to the cup depth. I usually don't like bras where the wire length is shorter than the cup depth. In the 30E, the wires and bottom of the cup fit me the best. However, it is designed for a fuller, rounder breast size and shape than I have, so unfortunately getting the bottom to fit means the upper cup is too empty. While I can accept some emptiness in the upper cup in bras as this is a common side effect of my shape, this is really too much, as it doesn't smooth out even with foam inserts. It makes the top of the bra look sloppy. I didn't have this problem in the 30D because it was quite snug on me, so I didn't know this would happen.

I think I might try 30DD one more time in the future and hope that the band comes in snug.
