Didn't fit

For reference. I am usually a 30JJ or 32J, depending on the stretchiness of the band. I am center full and slightly full on bottom. My root is short and slightly narrow. I need a lot of immediate projection. My tissue is fairly soft, and my shoulders a little narrow. My main fit issues tend to be not enough immediate projection and too high cups and gores. I've yet to find my ideal bra, but I think it would be a cross between a balcony and a plunge (almost a balcony, but with a gore height that is somewhere between the two, and a little narrower straps)

This bra runs extremely large. The 30 band on this bra passed the backwards band test, but on the looser side. The cups were about a size, maybe two, too big (Because the cup was rather high, maybe 2 cups on my short rooted, full on bottom breasts, but maybe only 1 size if you tend to fill the top of a cup better than I do.) The cup width was nice. Slightly wider than I need, but narrower than many bras and not so wide that it would have been uncomfortable. It was hard to determine if there was enough immediate projection with the overall size issues, but I think in the right size it would be an "almost enough and passable, but not quite" situation. The gore was higher than I need. I couldn't tell if it was so high as to be uncomfortable, though, in this size. The straps were placed very wide. Although my shoulders are somewhat narrow, this is very rarely an issue that causes a problem for me, other than cutting in a little at my tail of spence. On this bra though, the straps were set so far out, that they were hitting right past where my shoulders end if completely vertical. I am not going to try a different size at this time, because although it would fit many of the fit issues, I think the straps would still be an issue for me.

The quality overall looks pretty good. The only area that looks a little cheap is the stretchy part of the band. It seems like the type of fabric that would start to run quickly. The straps are nice, with some stretch, but still very firm. They feel like they would be very comfortable.

Appearance...meh. I'm going to be a harsh critic on this, but I've yet to see any bra at my size that I don't find old-fashioned and matronly. This is no exception. Not the worst that I've seen, but I'd hate to show it to anyone. It didn't look bad in the pictures of smaller sizes when I bought it, but at this size it's not cute. The pattern and edging on the lace was kinda cute. The pattern on the cups looked a little like a grandma's curtains from the 70s.

Fit information

On Mar 2019

Band fit. Cups too big by probably 1, maybe 2 sizes. Straps were set wider than my shoulders. The gore was slightly too high, but may have been wearable if it had fit in other ways. Cups were slightly too wide, but not so much as to be a problem.

Center gore comfort:
Underwires dig into sternum, because they are too high
Strap separation:
Are too far apart
Top of the cup:
Wrinkles, can't quite fill it

This bra didn't fit her, but these did
