I talked to Ewa Michalak in person and she comes off as a bit impatient and impolite person, so I am a bit biased on this bra, but well... it is very comfortable.

Pros: the wire width to cup depth ratio is perfect. I never met this in any bra type. Also the 4 hook rows instead of 3 help with adjusting.
Cons: fabric lost it color by the third wash.

This bra is not owned any more

  I have heard she's rude. But she does make lovely bras. Were you hand washing?

  I think she as a person is unprofessional and rude. I didn't want to love her bras, but unfortunately I do. They really are gorgeous. This is one of the ones I regret missing! A shame about the colors though.

• I never hand wash my bras, I put them in a t-shirt with armholes tied and put on a delicate cycle with cold water. All of my Freyas and Masquerades survive it beautifully, while this one looks like I gave it to my dog to sleep on.

  PetiteCollegiate believe me I have the same feelings about her bras... they are pretty, though sometimes she offers something as aesthetically offending as the Ewa Michalak Chp Musisztomie\u0107 ! (552) which makes me cringe, it looks like a poorly made Chinese bra with Soviet-style lace curtain sewn onto it.

  I wear this bra only beacuse it it very comfortable, and I would *never* buy it full price. I do not condone supporting a bully, and she *is* a bully, as she bashes her clients (!) on her blog, calling them stupid and their demands idiotic.

  She really needs to just be a designer and have a PR person who interfaces with the public. Most people are not good at everything.

  Scharminkeltje Is it really that bad? I can't read Polish so my impressions are largely from bloggers and of course her reaction to "strap gate." I'm likely to still buy her bras because she is one of only 3 places that is willing to make my size (even if she probably would bitch about me wearing the "wrong" size). But ugh how I don't wish to support someone like that.

• PetiteCollegiate it is that bad. When I was just taking baby steps into bra world she made this plunges in cotton satin fabric in very big sizes, and the whole bra-world was like 'wow, plunges in 26K!'
  She failed to mention though the the cups were lined in a baby-pajama style fabric with little bears on it and was very angry when people asked her about it. She said - quote unquote - that it was her artistic vision, she does not have to explain herself to her customers (!) and that you can always wear a shitty H&M bra if you don't like her designs. So... yeah. She is kind of a Miranda Priestly in the brafitting realm.

  I actually think it's sort of cute as well. Ewa's strength though will always be her large size range. Even an ugly plunge in 26K is a big step. As a 26 band myself, I appreciate that she's willing to make my size, even if she's sort of an asshole about it.

  Ewa Michalak is a bra celebrity and acts like one, too. She probably believes that she is the absolute best in the business and that nothing/nobody can throw her off her throne. And she is probably right because that is what she would read about her bras if she logged in to Bratabase. :) Also, all that negative publicity kinda turned into free advertisement, making her known to people who have never even heard about her brand before. I guess she has the "worship my work or get lost" attitude, which is not uncommon in the designer world. We only know a handful of bra designers by name and who knows how many have personality issues.

  exactly. I feel like because she is basically a one-person business (aside from manufacturing and a few things) people equate her with her products. Bigger companies are protected from that. We dont put such scrutiny to everything we buy. For all we know, panache and CK designers are also assholes. Who designs shoes? Hell, how much of the clothing we buy is made by slaves in sweat shops? No one really wants to know. But she's in-your-face and we know about it because she IS accessible and in fact hard to get around if you want her stuff.

  if there are only 2 bras in the world that fits me, i'm damn well not going to stop buying one of them because the designer is an asshole. I just wont choose to interact with her.
