The color of the bra is a bright magenta under a brown, lace overlay. It's not exactly the color I thought it would be from the pictures, but I'm not unhappy with it. There is some wrinkling of the cups under my right breast, which is my smaller side, but I suppose they can't both be happy in one size. I'm having a hard time finding a bra that is large enough in the cups but not too wide for my frame. When the bra is on my body, the straps sit at approximately 12 inches from one outside edge of one strap to the other, and this digs in painfully to the skin at my armpit and lateral chest. To position the straps in a way that was not painful was to have them balancing precariously at the very tip of my shoulder. I would highly recommend this bra to women who have shoulders who are a little bit broader than mine and to those who have more breast tissue under their armpits - in other words wider roots.
