I got this from another Bratabase person with the intent of altering the band, so I expected the band would not fit and I was right. But it wasn't nearly as ill-fitting as I thought it would be - on the tightest hooks, it nearly fits, and I was able to wear it all day with only a little discomfort. I will definitely be shortening the band still though.

The lace at the top is too loose and the straps are just a bit wide. Looking at it I suspect that if I bring the straps in a bit, that will fix the fit problems with the lace.

I do not mind doing these alterations because this bra fits *beautifully* otherwise. It is gorgeous, sturdy, comfortable, and gives a great shape. I love the height at the sides and the wires are a good width for me.
Other bras fit me so strangely that I was getting frustrated, but this is just wonderful. This style of bra is the one I will be stockpiling in case civilization crashes so that at least I will have great bras for a few years.

• I did not end up altering it - I took a good hard look at my ability to finish projects (minimal) and decided to list it instead (when I get around to it).
