The cups definitely run small. I'm a 28C/28D and the 28DD is very close to fitting me. Aside from the lace edge doing it's own thing (due to poor design), the only issue I have is that the center of the cup is too deep for me. I'm a bit more shallow than this bra.
I might fit the 28D if the wires don't get too much more narrow in a smaller size. Not sure if I'll bother though since I'm unsure about the shape this bra gives and the annoying lace that doesn't lay flat.
