Didn't fit

So, this bra is lovely. I purchased it as a hopeful bedroom bra. It's well made and all, of course. However...
I wish I had known that Nipplex sizing was going to be a cup size or so too small. According to their charts, I should've been an F, and even with this being a push-up bra, I just spill out of it everywhere. It was silly. And disappointing.
I think it fits like a US size DD cup, honestly. I thought it was a UK size F, not a EU size F, which are at least 1 cup size in difference even without the brand differentiation thrown in! D:

Hopefully the measurements listed here will help somebody figure out if it might work for them!! =)

I would appreciate any help in how to distinguish whether a brand sizes their cups in EU versus UK sizing. Cuz on the same online store, there will be bras from various sizing charts and I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TELL THEM APART! Mostly the EU and UK, not so much the US sizing. When they get to the bigger cups, I am lost. =((( Help?!

  • For an easy way to tell which sizing system things use:

US brands will generally use DD and sometimes DDD, but no other multiple letters.

EU brands use only single letters and generally have higher band sizes (for example a 32 band is a 70 in EU sizing), but some websites will convert band size when they list the bras. EU sizing is a little tricky because some brands use 2cm increments between cup sizes while others use 1 inch intervals.

UK sizes will use double letters besides just D. So there will be FFs, GGs, HHs, etc.

  • I always look the brand up here to see the sizing system they use, never rely on stores' size charts that are often wrong.
