Didn't fit

I thought this will be like Freya's padded bras but apparently it's more like the non padded ones. It's way too big, both in the cups and in the band. Actually the band is ridiculously big, it measures 65 cm without stretching and stretches easily to 86 cm. It rides up even on the tightest hooks. There's a lot of empty space in the cups. It's nice that straps are fully adjustable but, as always in Freya's bras, they are too long for me.
Cups are made of soft and very thin fabric. Overall, it's a nice bra. It is minimalistic but looks great. I would love to try it in my correct size but I'm afraid that 28 band would still be too big.

  • Thanks for a good review! Since I just found my real bra size I've been wanting to try Freya, its good to know that the band runs big on this bra.

I see you tried @Freya's @DecoFuse, can you remember, did it run true to size? I'm on the small side of 30:07 a 30F UK, and I was worried that the cups might run big like on the @Deco. Thank you!

  • Vintagelady The Deco Fuse may seem to run big in the cups as they are, in my opinion, quite open on top but it may fit in your usual size as well. I think it depends on your shape. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the original Deco. To me, the Fuse was similar to the Deco Vibe and Delight but there is a significant difference in the way the cup edges fit - in my Fuse they stick out(?). I can't explain this properly, even in Polish, but this trimming doesn't lie flat on my breasts and it can be visible under clothing. I think you can see it on my pictures. I haven't tried the smaller size to determine if this is a construction or a size issue, so I don't know if the 30E would fit without quadding. And you could also want to size down in the band as mine measures 64 cm and stretches to 77, so it's more like the 32 than the 30.

  • Thanks for replying!

Hmm, that's what I wondered. I'd definitely want to size down in the band, 32 is pretty loose.

As for the cups gaping, you explained it nicely, I've had that before, it was only on one of two bras that were the same. I don't know what causes the flare, but I do know that the bra that curled out was bigger that the other, (both were supposedly 34C US).

30E may be the size I should try for Deco Fuse, I'm full on top though, so I'm not sure if that would cause the quadding you mention or just stop the edge from curling. I don't want to get it if it will flare out, that defeats the purpose of a t-shirt bra. ;)

Do you recommend the Deco Vibe and Delight?

  • Vintagelady Definitely :) The Vibe and the Delight both have the trimming, but it doesn't cause any problems. I needed to size down in the band in both, but I've kept my 30F as they were really cheap. I have one Delight in 28FF, and it's a perfect fit, now I wouldn't buy any of them in 30F :P I think that they could work as a t-shirt bra (better than the Fuse for sure), but keep in mind that these Decos have this thick edging, so it's not completely invisible under clothing. I don't mind this, and the Delight in 28FF is one of my favourite bras at the moment.

As for the Fuse cups, I didn't want to write that the cups curl out as it could be understood wrongly, like they did this only when I'm wearing the bra. But they just are this way. I wouldn't say it's a gaping, it's only this stupid stiff trimming. I compared the Deco Fuse with my Deco Charm and they were the same in every dimension, I don't know why this bra fits differently, really. And that's why I have a problem with explaining this :). I mentioned trying the smaller size as there's a possibility that one could fill out the cups better and the edges wouldn't look like this, but to be honest, I doubt it's a size-related issue. I think it's a construction fail or the shape mismatch as I am not full on top, more like even. Or maybe this particular bra is faulty. When I posted this Fuse on the Polish bra site, the users told me that some Decos just behave like this, and there's no point in sizing down.

  • Oh, I think I meant that a 28 band would be better than 30 since it runs big, does a 28FF fit like the 30f should?
Do Delight and Vibe both run a little lose like Fuse?

That is good to know, I think unless I see a really good deal for the deco fuse I'll try a different one for starters. I like the look of Deco Vibe. It looks comfy.

Thank you so much WelshCorgiPembroke !

Vintagelady Yes, they both run big in the band. I am somewhere between the 30F and the 28FF, and I feel that this 28FF is my perfect fit.

  • That's really helpful, I think as I'm on the small side of 30f, I like to try a 28f, and see how that is. If it's like a 30e, it would probably work for half of the month. ;)
