Didn't fit

The @Dominique @4346 is a version of the classic 'M-frame' form of bra that my mother (and maybe even her mother) used to wear, and even has the same model number as some of those. It's intended to yield a somewhat separated, slightly pointed look, which I like, and a well-fit M-frame will yield a good amount of control over even a fairly large bust.

The sides are a stretchy two-layer mesh which breathes fairly well. It seems true to size, perhaps a wee bit small in the cups, especially for me; however, the M-frame is fairly forgiving of large breasts, if you're okay with having the center line not be at all flush. A 42 band is short for me, but it's fine with a single extender. The straps are adjustable with sliders, and because of my shape I have a few issues with the side bands riding up if the fit of the straps is at all off.

While the classic forms of this model I have known have single-layer cups, this version has a normal opaque outer cup, but also a thin inner lining of very fine mesh. I personally dislike the feel of thick, layered, or padded cups, so I have played around with modifying the cups of these bras. Removing the outer cup isn't terribly useful, though that inner mesh is certainly thin and transparent enough to be considered rather risqué (though the center seam kinda ruins the effect). Removing the inner lining instead yields what I consider quite nice results. The outer cups are perfectly capable of modesty and control on their own, the odd slidey feel is gone, and they even breathe a little better.

Given the above modification for my own tastes, I think this is a fairly good iteration of a classic design.

Rather tight, and bands not wide enough.

Cups separation:
Too close together for my boobs
Band fit:
I can fasten it, but it feels too tight
Cup's width:
Outer cup cuts into breast tissue in the sides

This bra didn't fit her, but these did
