Didn't fit

This is a really gorgeous bra that I got from Wendybien.
Lots of really nice detail even on the back of the band where it hooks.

I am narrow, short rooted with touching breasts and have a lot of center projection.
The gore is a little too wide and tall for me. The wires sit on both breasts. However they are softer and more padded than the cleo wires and so don't bother me as much. There seems to be enough immediate projection, but perhaps not enough center projection. (I'm not quite sure on that). The 2 Empreinte bras I've tried seem to be better on center projection, at least the gores on them come closer to tacking even when they are as tall as this gore.
The 8" high cup is a little too tall. I barely fill the upper half of the cup.
The straps do not fully adjust. Right now they are shortened all the way. I'm only 5'1" and short waisted . The portion of the strap that is not adjustable is very firm and that is nice. Makes the bra feel
very secure. I don't know if in time I might have to shorten the adjustable portion .
I think the band is small for a 30. It fits like a 30 Cleo, but smaller than a Freya 30 band.
The shape this bra gives is slightly more pointed than the round shape of a Cleo and also a little understated.
Lift isn't quite as good. Maybe the cup is a little big on me??

    yes, sigh on fit.

Oh, I'm sorry it is not 100%! What is the profile shape like ?Lack of lift issue might be because it's not tacking all the way, it always affects lift on me. I did find my other Lejabys relaxed slightly at the cup edge seam over time which may allow a better tack after some wear.

I love my lejabys. I want more. Before everything that fit me almost was a cleo. But the lejabys have a lot more variation of shape than the Cleo so when I'm buying I still feel like I'm not sure what I'm going to get. Of the 6 I have, I wear two a lot( a white one with geometric embroidery and a good one). One (white polka dot) I want to take some depth out of the apex and then I think I'll wear it a lot. One lands on my tail of spence (cornflower blue one) and I don't find it comfortable because of that and one cuts in a little at the arm in front (a light blue one) so I don't wear it much either even though I love the shape it gives me. And last I have a pink one that I like and it fits well but it shows up under more shirts than I'd like. The shape without a shirt it a little pointier than I'm used to but under a shirt I think it looks really flattering. I've got to learn their names lol. And in my experience the lejabys also run larger or true to Cleo size for the same cup / band but I haven't figured out which cuts do what yet. I think there are only a few of us on here that wear them so there isn't near as much information as there is on many other brands. I feel like the underwires and the bands are more forgiving than cleos when I'm wearing the bra for many hours

  • *gold one, not good. darn autocorrect

  • revisa. Yes, those Cleo wires are brutal and I'd love to find replacements for those bras.
I seem to be able to really size down in the lebajy and Empreinte bras. I wear 28GG or 30G in Cleos and in these French I'm wondering if even a 80F might be a little big . I think that probably has to do with better immediate and center Projection and narrower wires.

  • wendybien . Side view is not too bad, although it could also be a little more perky. I think perhaps the lack of front lift could be because the cup is really too tall. If I pull up by quite a bit where the strap meets the cup then I get better lift. I want to do that with a lot of bras. Is it my very short roots? I have very dense(heavy) boobs, so I need industrial strength:):)

  • Primula ive sizes down in a couple of the lejabys too. I know i can use a bar with a little less overall depth if it has good immediate projection and narrower wires. I prefer wires as close to 5" as possible. 4.9" is great too. I think some of the lejabys have a lot of projection at the apex, more than I need for sure. My roots look very short and I'm low set but if they are pushed close to my body the roots actually go very high so I do well with shorter more open cups at the top or I end up with bubbling even when the bra fits. I do like Cleo but I totally agree that I wish they had wires that were a little more forgiving! And some plain colors please. When the Hettie comes down in price I want to try it and the burgundy Marcie lol

  • revisa, Yes, while the colorful bras are fun, I still need a plain nude color to wear under my white or really light tops:) and they are so hard to find.
