Didn't fit

An unlined, cut-and-sewn everyday bra for those who find similar bras by Goddess (Kayla, Keira), Elomi (Caitlyn, Cate) and Wacoal (Fine Form, et al) too tall in the gore, cups or wings.

Please note: This is a Jeanie model that is not offered by many on-line or boutique retailers, so be careful to distinguish it with the more popular Jeanie contour plunge.

This bra has four-section cups with a side panel. All of the sections are constructed with the same materials, a jersey outside and a mesh lining. These materials aren't quite as firm as the similar bras by Elomi, say, so they provide somewhat less firm support. I get good lift and rounding, partly because the bottom section projects upward as much as outward. That works well on my soft tissue, which needs to be hiked upward, but if you have firm tissue and a lot of projection at the bottom of the cup, you might have trouble. The wire has some flex in it, but not much.

I like that the proportions suit by 5-2 frame much better than even the Elomi Etta, which was designed for the "petite plus" market. The cups aren't too high, the gore is low enough that I can wear almost all of my wardrobe with this, and the wings and wire don't dig into my armpit. The seams are invisible under every top except the very closest-fitting knit ones. Note: This "European Nude" color is a little darker and less pink than other Parfait models (in case you're trying to match with undies, etc.).
