Didn't fit

I ordered this bra because I wanted a soft cup bra to wear in the evenings after work and sometimes on the weekends (a lounge bra, if you will.) I read reviews that it is best to size up in the cup with this bra, but unfortunately, this was not an option for me since it is not available above a J cup. I decided I wanted to try it anyway.

The band is quite stretchy and I'm finding I need a 30 band instead of a 32 band more times than not, but at least this one has 6 rows of hooks. Maybe this will allow me to get a decent amount of wear out of it even though I'm already wearing it on the 3rd or 4th row. The straps aren't as wide as I'd like, but they're not horribly uncomfortable. Wider straps would bring the comfort level up a notch, though.

The so-called "cups" aren't as deep as I feel they should be (they are more wide than deep), so the center gore does not lie flat, and probably wouldn't even in a better size. However, I had realistic expectations concerning this type of bra and was already prepared for this. I had quite a bit of quad boob after I swooped and scooped, but honestly, I'll probably wear this one without being concerned about swooping and scooping (since there are no wires, everything will just settle back to where it came from anyway.) If I don't do that, it actually fits fine in the cups.

Good news is concerning the shape and comfort. It is quite comfortable and actually does offer a fairly decent amount of support (much better than the cheap sports bras I had been wearing after work.) The shape is pretty good, too. Even though my boobs are touching, it doesn't look like I have uni-boob -- I actually still have 2 boobs, even under a shirt. The profile is a slightly uplifted, rounded shape that wouldn't make me self-conscious if I went out in public, even. It is MUCH better than the shape I got from the Freya Kelly that I tried a few months ago (droopy and pointy.)

I think it's very pretty with the white lace over the pink, although my fiance commented on how it looked like a bra from the 50's to him. I wasn't sure if that was a negative comment or not (men, geez.) I like it, and that's all that matters really.

So, all in all, it's a success. I REALLY wish it came in a 30JJ or 30K, but I'll make due with this one for now. I will eventually order the black one as well so I have more options.

This bra is not owned any more

  • After taking out the wires of Andorra 36J I can wholeheartedly recommend that as a softcup.

I've considered Sophie as well but now I know I don't need it :)

  • Oh and I also must say I adore the top you're wearing on the picture. It's really fresh in color. Couldn't stop looking at it cause it made me happy XD

Aw, thanks! It's just an Old Navy t-shirt, but I love it.

Glad you've made yourself a soft cup as well! :)
