Didn't fit

This was the first bra I bought as a true size bra. I was pretty happy to find that all the harassment in high school were people said I couldn't be a 36C because they were barely 34Bs was all water under the bridge as I found myself in a 30H that was too small (in the cups).. I know its immature, but those girls were awful!

Anyway. I found this bra and it was pretty good. I loved the look (finally I could look sexy in a bra... in high school I wore a sports bra over an underwire - one to keep them up, and one to keep them down - and half my bras had to be tied together or sewn up because they broke from the weight of my boobs). The lace is absolutely gorgeous. The only problem with it is just that - its lace - so there is no support from it. They structured it so that it hold a bit better than just putting a single piece of lace across the cup, and they added a bit of elastic at top of the cup, but ultimately the support was lacking. The underwires are solid. Almost two years and still there perfectly w/o looking anywhere near ripping through the fabric (which was usually what made me switch bras previously, the loss of underwires from weight of boobs). The lace of the cups are torn to shreds however. It is double layered in areas so that helps, but I guess i kept tearing it when I couldn't fit the cups. I think maybe it was in part fluctuations through the month from hormones, maybe a little from weight change, but ultimately i do think that going up a cup size from usually may be beneficial. The opposite goes for the band. It tore a little, and it was sooo tight day one (but I was used to 34/36 bands and now a 30 woah change), but I put in an extender until it worked itself out (a little I think was washing) and now I have it on the 3rd hook and its loose, BUT I have too because any tighter and it cuts in a bit because the lack of support from the cups (its a whole system that has to work together, I believe the band is appropriate and going up to the 32 would be a bad idea, because if I had the right cup, then the 32 would creep up, the same way it creeps up when I have the expander on). so I would not advise sizing up on the band. The straps are a pain for me personally, they are hard to adjust (as are any but these are thick and have lace on the sides making it hard to slide once the bra is on) but they are sturdy and cute. They alone could hold you up if it wasn't for the stretch of the lace and band.

I still wear the bra on and off today (I am in the process of finding a new bra, I don't want to choose the wrong size again) and I like it a lot. I am sorry its in such disarray. I find buying a bra such a hassle because I have to do it online (or pay money I don't have for it) but if I knew the size that would fit without causing issues, i would buy this bra again in a heartbeat. I would suggest to anyone that would like it (because it is really a gorgeous bra) to try buying two sizes from somewhere you can return to (the place I bought from is out of business sadly). I feel the bra makes my boobs look good in just the bra and under shirts (although careful out in the cold because the lace is a little sheer as my husband likes to point out). It is a natural look (not a big lift but it doesn't leave you low). I really like having this bra for a regular day and I will definitely buy one again and maybe see about alterations and being a little more gentle (not cleaning in automatic washer&dryer) if I find one at a good price again.
