Didn't fit

First off, a word about Wonderbra... although one and the same company, a "Wonderbra" means something very different to Canadians than to the rest of the world! Here in Canada, a Wonderbra is usually a no-nonsense, softcup bra. They come in boxes at department stores and generally cater to an older clientele. Just imagine my amusement when I found out that in the UK, Wonderbra is synonymous with plunges and push-ups!

The 3364 "butterfly" minimizer is a wonderful coincidence of inconsistent sizing. The 32D is, believe it or not, a flawless fit to my (usually) 30F figure. For the last 8 years, up until my recent professional fitting epiphany, my bra collection consistently solely of 3364's. I loved them to pieces. Simply nothing else in the entire mall fit right.

This is a fantastic bra. Since it's a minimizer style, the central gore is very wide and not designed to rest against the sternum. The shape it gives is gorgeous -- uplifted, rounded, subtly minimized, and with just the slightest hint of cleavage. Under clothes, it's indistinguishable from my Fantasie Esme. The 3364 has soft and satiny cups, and I love the butterfly detailing at the center.

Tragically, Wonderbra discontinued the 32 band size years ago. For a time, I could buy the Bali 3364 (exact same bra) online, until it too was discontinued. Today I get the 34D and alter the band to fit. I'll review the 34D separately

Pros:
- Great shape and uplift.
- The most extraordinarily comfortable bra ever.
- Price! Since Wonderbra is a Canadian brand, they are inexpensive here. Since Canada slaps tariffs on imports, we pay an arm and a leg for UK bras.

Cons:
- 32 (equivalent to a 30) band has been discontinued.

  • As a Canadian (and coincidentally we're the same bust size), thank you so much for this review! Where do/did you find this bra? I've not seen Wonderbra at any of the specialty bra shops and Sears doesn't carry anything smaller than a 34 band, sadly. I'd love to be able to buy and afford a bra I can actually try on first, rather than buying on eBay and hoping it will fit!

  • Sadly, the 3364 is no longer made in a 32 band. I buy the 34 band from Sears or the Bay and have the band shortened by a seamstress. Around twice a year a big sale takes the price of these down to $20 - $25 apiece, so even with the added cost of alterations it's still a very affordable option.

Pre-alteration, it's pretty loose on the tightest hooks, but not absurdly so. You could probably get a reasonable sense of the fit by trying it on that way.
