Used to fit

Material: The lace IS very thin, but not in a flimsy way. The pattern is not as garish as I was expecting; it's actually quite pretty. It's slightly itchy, and I can see the lace through a thick-ish tshirt. The seams are less apparent than my nipples through the shirt, so it's more the texture that shows through. The top edge of the cup is a little looser than on the Milosc because there's no ribbon, and that flares out a bit on me. I don't know what this means.

Straps and Band: The straps are a little narrower than I'm used to, but not as narrow as the Koralik. The band is stretchy, almost as much as a Panache bra, and for that I'm not too happy. In order to get the band as tight as I'd like, I need to use the middle hook. Ideally, I'd like the straps to be closer together, but I'm petite with narrow-ish shoulders.

Fit:The cup width is perfect, at least in the 65FF. This was the first bra I put on, and was thunderstruck that I happened to grab the one that fit me best. It's possible that the cups are a little further apart than I'd like, because I had to adjust my breasts outwards when I first put it on.

Shape: It gave me a perfect rounded shape, and my boyfriend was very appreciative. I don't feel like I have a bra on, which either means it fits really well, or it doesn't strap me in as much as the Deco I just took off does. I'm wearing it around the house today to decide.

  • Is there really that much difference in the band in this bra between the 65FF and 65G? You have written in the stretched amount as 2" higher in the FF. I'm thinking of ordering from them but no one has reviewed 26 or 28's, yet their calculator suggests me a 30 (65), but they seem to be the same size as a lot of 28's. Is their sizing really that inconsistant?

  • Brittany at thin and curvy did a review on 26 bands here: http://www.thinandcurvy.com/2011/05/where-to-find-26-and-24-band-bras-and.html I also believe the 28's (60 in EU sizing) and under are special order only.

I'm not the reviewer but to chime in about the sizing, I've heard that this style as well as the Onyks is looser in the band.

Honestly, I had someone else hold this band so I could measure, while I did the G on my own. So there is some user error there in the measurements. However, the FF absolutely *is* more stretchy. I would have been happy to keep the FF if it had a band like the G, which was almost as firm as the Miloscs.

I did try to ask EM whether this was a fluke, and they didn't answer my question directly. They just said that differences in band could come from cup size. (Though, that doesn't quite apply here, as too-small cups can lead to the band feeling tighter, and too-big can make them feel looser.)
