Very pretty pattern for an affordable price. The sizes are very high and the underwires wide, so I can wear it just when not doing a lot of activity, but would be really well suited if you're looking for more side support. The straps are a bit wide and since the sides are high, it rubs a bit at the front of my armpits. Nice forward shape for a soft cup bra.
I love the color of this bra! It's a rich navy offset by embroidery in blues and teals. It fits very firm on the second hooks and even feels good on the loosest, I also really like the three hooks it gives it a lot of stability. It's not quite as high in quality as some of the others but I'd definitely consider buying this brand again.
It seemed like a good fit at first. But even with the straps tightened beyond comfortable, the shape is a bit droopy and I get an uncomfortable bounce with the slightest bump in the road. After a few hours, the wires start pinching my chest. If I tighten the straps to a max, the support is obviously better but my shoulders aren't happy. The shape also gets weird. I've only worn it a couple of times and plan on selling it.
A 28GG Flirtelle Dahlia was the same. I almost crossed Flirtelle/Curvy Kate off my list, but then I remembered reading on Bras I Hate (http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2012/05/what-does-curvy-kateflirtelle-have-to.html) that a downward-pointing shape in CK bras means the cups are too small. I should probably try a 28H and see if it makes a difference.
This bra runs small in the cup, right now the 30F is too small, so this 30FF is better, i.e. best to go up a size. The fabric is lovely, and the cups provide reasonable side support. The lace band on the top is rather forgiving for my full-on-top boobs, so no line. The band is relatively snug compared to for example Freya, but as I am between sizes, it's currently on the middle hook, as I like a firm band.
Another bra that gives me a pointier appearance. The embroidery is interesting and quite pretty. The straps adjust to the perfect length and the band feels a little bit tight, but not so tight that I would return this bra. I know it will stretch out. It takes a while to fasten the extra hook. I'm not quite used to three hooks, but I'm sure it will get easier.
Blue color, bought from brastop.com. Tried on for fit, then measured. Will exchange, as this one does not fit properly due to quadboob.
I really think this is a beautiful style (one I will probably reorder) but it looks like my Curvy Kate/ Flirtelle size is 28H, as this size gives me quad-boob. Straps are fully adjustable. One thing to note, the tag and the brand tag both spell this style as Viniard, NOT vineyard. I'm not sure if they altered the name of the style (as it looks the same) or if there is a typo on the tags.
Nude color. Received from brastop, tried on for fit, the measured. I will return as it is too small in the cup, I think I need a 28H in Flirtelle/ Curvy Kate.
Cute style, and I like the nude color, though it's definitely a darker nude than my actual skin tone. There's a lot of embroidery, but I didn't check to see if it was visible under teeshirts since it didn't fit. Straps are fully adjustable.
A much better fit compared to the 30F I tried previously. It gives a really nice rounded, but natural shape. I really like that it's somewhat sheer as I like sheer bras and the embroidery is pretty as well.
I do find the band a stretchier than other bras I own, but I don't think sizing down is necessary. The underwires are pretty flexible, so when I wear the bra it feels slightly too wide which I think makes the outer edge of the bra cut into the front of my armpit slightly. If the underwires were stiffer, I think it would be perfect, but it's pretty good right now. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The fit reminds me of the Curvy Kate Emily, but overall fitting better. Price wise, it's a bargain. I would really recommend.
Pretty bra, very similar in fit and comfort to the CK Emily I have just added & reviewed. The armpit is again a little bit too high but there's only a very small amount of rubbing. This bra gives a natural, rounded sort of shape with good support.
I have the wrong size in the bra, however it is very cute. If I had the proper size I think it would be comfortable. Can't be worn under every kind of shirt however! The lace and detail show through t-shirts.
The bra is quite sheer which I like, but not as sheer as the Freya Arabella since the bottom section is double layered. It fits well everywhere except the cups. I think I'm a bit full on top, so I'm having some issues with cutting in. It's quite uplifting as well.
This is a lot like Curvy Kate style and fit. I really love it, but it isn't quite right for me. The band is very firm and the bra is very supportive. Unfortunately I fall out a little at the front of the cups (where the two cups meet) although I don't think I could go up a size, as than the cup would be too big at the top (where the cup and the straps meet). It is also very high under my arms already and rubs a little so I wouldn't want to go up. I think if it fitted it would be a really comfortable bra, but for me it isn't right. I also find I need to tighten the straps too much. If i don't I feel my breasts are too low, but I know I have tightened them too much, so they start to dig in a little.
The color is surprisingly ugly. I don't know what I was expecting, but it totally looks like a stereotypical grandma bra. The fabric in the cups is very thick too, which adds to the effect.
In terms of underwire width, this was better than the other 28GG Flirtelle bra I ordered. But the cups were a lot bigger. Not sure why.
Band: Nice and firm! I really should have ordered a 30G, because this fits better with an extender. Cup: The embroidery makes it stiff but not really itchy. The color and embroidery are slightly visible under a medium weight, white t-shirt. Fits me pretty well, though I feel like the shape is a little flat. This may be due to... Underwires: STRETCH. They come up mid-armpit before I fasten the band, which is slightly wider than perfect. And then, when I fasten the band, they stretch to the point that they're nearly wrapping around my back! When I use an extender, this isn't quite as extreme, but they still distort to be wider than is comfortable. The wires and wings come up very high as well, which just adds to the discomfort.
I knocked the quality and comfort scores down largely because the wires have issues.
I really, really like this bra. It's not much to look at - quite plain and simple - but it's incredibly comfy and the fit is really good for me. I think Flirtelle / Curvy Kate's cup shape on this style of bra is always going to be really good on me, and I'm slowly collecting as many as I can.
There's no digging in on the sternum or straps, the band fits well and it seems to have survived a good few wears and washes without stretching out too much. The only con is the fact it's a bit boring, but for an everyday bra that'll work under most clothes and stay in place all day, it's a good one!
Nice Bra in supporting thick however comfortable fabric. Cups well designer to' embrace and support . Nice embrodery but overall plein and functional appearance. Great shape and comfort. Ps cups not footing because i have thinned too much - my wrong choice. Bra it is overall true to size!
It should say on the tag :) - 85K is actually either the EU size or the FR size, hard to tell which
