    One in every color please!
I’ve been on the hunt for a wireless bra/bralette. This is so comfortable it’s worthy of sleeping in. I consider this more of a 4 part cup. There are two lower parts, and upper cup lace part, and a side part section. The outside cup is made of a stretch mesh with a subtle dot pattern. The upper cup is made of a stretch lace with the sections having an under layer of stretch mesh. The back band has a stretch mesh in a single layer with a U shape. The under band is a wide piece of elastic. At first glance I ... throughly for sure it was going to be way too small, but was pleasantly surprised when it stretched and provided a comfortable yet supportive fit. The back clasp is a 3x3 hook closure. The elastic straps are almost an inch wide! They provide a comfortable fit and are spaces perfectly for me. There are no bows or adornments.

Side note: Due to the side piece of the cup, it reaches further back to attach to the back band than a similarly cut bra/bralette. While I was measuring this out I tried to measure to where the vertical side seams would be had they been midline to the body.

I'm so glad I saw this post! I've also been looking for a bralette, particularly one comfortable enough to sleep in. This sounds absolutely perfect.

    • musynical It really is super comfy. I purchased in black as well as white. Both fit the same and equality wonderful.

    Didn't fit

It's a beauty. It's the Mary Poppins of my bra-drobe - "Practically perfect in every way". Extremely comfortable. The very light padding on the cups lets it mold more closely to your natural contours, while creating a softly rounded & uplifted shape. The lace at the tops of the cups initially sat up and out a bit, but with time it's flattened nicely and conforms to the cup. It's a dream for my sensitive, FOT boobs. Cups are a bit too separated for me, though not nearly as bad as other Curvy Kate models I tried in 2015 (when I bought this bra) (I understand ... the now discontinued Flirtelle was an offshoot of CK) (I wonder - if I took in the gore, gathering me boobs closer to each other, would it make the tops of the cups a bit more closed?)

Too bad the band really stretches out from a loose 30-32 to a closer to a 32 + within a week or so. I bought this in a 30HH & 30 J and both bands did this. So I would say this fits more like a UK 32HH.

For me, I would need a 28K - one band size down, one cup size up, to correct the band and to stop spilling over & out of the tops of the cups all day. Alas. So close, yet so far.

Still, it gives a beautiful, rounded shape with plenty of *comfortable* support WITHOUT miserable wires and painful straps and pokey gores. If your boobs are FOT, this bra is a dream. The only other bra I've had that fit this perfectly was Freya 30H - Freya » Marvel Side Panel Bra (1501) from way back in the day. I plan to eventually list this when I fit something my size that's comfortable.

If anyone has an old 30JJ or 28K (if they made those) Ellie Padded Bra (FL6411) or knows of a bra that fits like this one, please do share! The Bratabase comparison tool gave me a couple of Curvy Kates padded balconettes & 1 Ewa Michalak Pl, so those are my next tries.

    • Great find! It's not easy to find a padded bra that works for fot boobs. Usually only half cups work but they stop at H. I had Flirtelle Rose, Kimberly and 32K - Flirtelle » Isabelle Padded Bra (FL4921) back in the day. While Rose and Kimberly gave upside 7 CK padded bra shape and were a bad fit, Isabelle was kinda decent. I regret not having it anymore.

    • Thank you! Looking at your review it appears we both arrived at the same conclusion: Comfy, cleavage bra that helps to shape with light padding. it really *is* light, isn't it? When I looked up the "similar bras" on the page for this one I actually had a lot of half cups listed. It def gives a semi-half cup vibe. Loved your description of "boobs on clouds"! #relatable

  3. Divine Balconette Bra (FL6001)

This was one of my first ever Flirtelle bras, I ordered both this one (black/pink) and another Flirtelle divine in Strawberry/Cream (http://www.bratabase.com/chest/dhjta/). The only difference between them is the colour.

The fit is perfect on me and it's really comfortable. My nipples is for once positioned perfectly, even though that means some of it may show through the upper panel as it's really sheer. Usually they tend to be situated to much to the middle and too low, but this one was right on spot. The shape is much more forward focused than most other brands, which probably is what I need. The broidery is pretty and ... flat and with the thin mesh fabric the seams are actually flat enough to not show through most tight fitting tops.

First I thought it wouldn't be supportive enough, but it actually is. There is no stretch in the mesh in the cups, and the double layers in the buttom of the cups really adds to the support. The shape is really nice an round, and still with some lifting. The forwardness actually gives me an hint of cleavage and even though it covers a lot, the slightly lower center makes me able to wear even not so high cut t-shirts, something I've never been able to do with Freya...

The band is tight compared to most other brands, as Freya or Panache, but for me that's just really good since I'm quite small. If you're like me a small 28, maybe even a 26 this is great, but otherwise you might want to size up in the band. Even though this isn't a Curvy Kate bra, the fit is almost exactly the same as most Curvy Kate non-padded bras, so if those suit you, this one is great. However, compared to the Curvy showgirl collection this one is at least a band size smaller.

For me this brings me back to when I was small enough to be able to wear the sheer Freya Eleanors, but this one gives you better shape and support, but is just as delicate looking. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    ------------------------------
    Pros:
    + Sheer/sexy
    + Supportive
    + Tight band
    + A hint of cleavage
    + Forwardness
    + Comfort

    Cons:
    - The support might not be enough for JJ/K-cups
    - Not for rocket boobs or too wide set
    - The band size might be too tight

Maybe it's because it's been A While, but this is much nicer than the last Flirtelle I had

I think back in the day I had a? Lucy? And the fabric part was much thicker than the mesh part and the shape was much less nice

I'm not used to wearing real bras but this one seems comfortable and nice, and the green is really cute on me I think!

This bra was acquired in the same batch desperate Brastop orders I described in my review of the 32K - Curvy Kate » Wonderfull Full Coverage Bra (CK018102) . The Alice was available in a variety of colors on Brastop at the time, and I went for the jade green in a 32JJ - Flirtelle » Alice Balconette Bra (FL7801) . Much like the Wonderfull, I loved the color, but had major quad boob, so I reordered it in a 32K. This bra is fairly open on top, and the wide lace trim on the edge of the cups doesn't always lie flat. It's very supportive, gives a rounded shape, and is cut low enough to wear with a tank top without showing (except the straps). Since I'm short on bras that fit at the moment, I've been wearing this about once a week. Someday, my old bras will fit again...

Not suitable for someone FOT like me. I got side spillage by the armpits AND quadboob on the top of both boobs. It's like the bra's shape curls inwards too much at the top, where the upper third of the 3 part construction is. This curl can be seen when the bra is not being worn. It digs in to the slope of my boobs at the top. I did not expect this digging in to happen with a 30F. Maybe this is meant to work for someone with very short roots and FOB? The band does not seem tight enough for me. The bra does not look ... or feel very supportive or attractive. Plus it instantly shows an awkard shape when I wear a top over it.

Before trying this bra on, I looked at the centre part where the underwires meet - the left underwire was further down in its casing than the right side - this has happened to me after months of wearing other bras, but it surely shouldn't happen on a brand new bra! So I've been put off Flirtelle by this, I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing flaw, or if someone had worn it a bit and returned it with tags on.

So this bra is EXTREMELY pink https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Like, crazy pink. Obviously not everyone's cup of tea, but I find it very cheerful!
The bright orange embroidery really pops and the purple bows are a nice touch.

Cups are too tall for me though, and borderline too big. Quite a bit of gaping when moving my shoulders, which normally rarely happens to me (being FoT and having pretty tall roots).

Actually; Flirtelle seems to be making some changes to their sizing!? To me, their fit seems tweaked: tighter bands and larger cups than before. Did anyone else notice this (or am I a Flirtelle ... addict with too many styles to compare 😁)?

Anyway looks like a similar development to Curvy Kate - which makes sense as they're supposedly Flirtelle's big sister. Flirtelle used to run regular-to large in the band and quite small in the cup. I think Flirtelle (Kimberley?) was actually the first brand I tried in a 30 backsize (and G cup) around 1,5 / 2 years ago! Since then I've preferred 30 bands pretty much all over. However, this recently purchased Ariel bra (and Elsa + Giselle padded from the same 'release date') have a noticeably tighter feeling band, to the point I would consider going up to 32.

Then the cups: as a regular size 30GG/30H, I normally needed a 30HH in padded Flirtelles. But Ariel's cups run big compared to earlier Flirtelle styles, which means this is now more true-to-size. I'm not yet sure if this is a trend (?) but I've come across these bigger cups in Giselle and Elsa as well. My purple Ellie was the first Flirtelle in which I noticed decidedly larger & taller cups than before (see review).

Also they've changed their EU conversion and now convert 30HH to 65HH on the label. In previous styles (Zara, Anneliese, Ellie) they converted it to 65M or so. Again, C'Kates did the same some time ago?

So anyway in short; I'm happy with the aesthetics of this fun-colored bra and I'd advise to either get your regular size; or a sister size in a larger band. Think I'm returning this for a 30H or 32GG.

Ohh this bra is soo pretty! Thanks for your insight on Flirtelle sizing. I used to like their padded bras in the past but the shape wasn't so good (probably because of to too small cups?!). I'm happy to hear that the cups run big and the bands small on never bras, since I'm at the upper end of the size range.

    • Yeah, or at least bigger than before!

I used to take 2 sizes up (from 30GG to 30HH) while now 30H or 32GG seems better. So still 1/2 or 1 cupsize up? (For reference, I'm a 30GG in Freya Deco)

Good luck trying new Flirtelles! 😊

I got this for summer 2020 when I was a 32J in bras, but couldn't wear it thanks to some quarantine weight gain. It's a unpadded regular bra underneath a tankini top. The band of the bra is on the tighter side, if you can I would size up. The cups also run a bit small and have Curvy Kate / Flirtelle typical upside seven shape. For my boobs this shape is not good at all, so I have to size up to have enough room. The shape of the bra is somewhat disguised by the top that goes over it and looks quite round from the side. I really recommend giving Flirtelle / Curvy Kate tankinis a try, they are far from the worst in that size range. The tankini top is supportive and does what it's supposed to do, letting me enjoy swimming without worring my boobs will fall out.

I ordered this bra online, and I think I got a size too big. That said, I'm not sure I'd have liked it in my true size. The underwire comes up too high on me on the sides, and hits too low on my rib cage in the front. I tried bending the underwire a little, which helped some, but not enough. I also found the straps to be a little too far apart, so they and the outside edge of the cup dig into my armpits a little too.

That said, the cups are double-lined, which is great for support. The tops of the cups are NOT ... stretch lace, but they are designed to be open enough that I don't think they'd give you "quad-boob" if you are full on top (assuming you get the right size). The nude color is nice for light or medium skin tones, and the design is nice and feminine. It doesn't look utilitarian like many "huge booby bras." If you have wider shoulders and/or lower set breast roots than I do, this bra might be a good fit!

I find this bra very comfortable. I prefer a wide cup for my boobs as I think they are wide, although this bra has a bit of wrinkling/emptiness at the top of the sides. This tends to happen on bras that are otherwise a good cup width for me. If the bra was narrower on the cups, I imagine it would put my boobs together more, creating overspill at the front. The cups do seem a little big for me, so perhaps if I go down a back size to a 36, the cups will seem a better fit. However they feel very supportive and I'd much prefer ... these cups to cups too small.

The back size is big. I'm usually a 36, sometimes 38, but this is quite loose, so worth going down a back size. The band feels comfortable and is soft enough otherwise. The back looks quite stretchy so I'm not sure it would last too long until it loses elasticity.

The quality and looks seems ok. The inner cups are soft to the touch and thinly padded with a sort of thin foam. The straps feel comfortable and smooth. It looks slightly dowdy, but the lace top of the cups distracts from that. Perhaps the black version would look a little prettier. It looks good under clothes. Considering the lace cups I expected it to show a fair bit under clothes, but I can actually honestly say this is my favourite bra for under clothes. No overspill, no low cup topline showing too much wobbly boob, no overturned or thick top of the cup showing. Yes there's the lace, but this is very thin and delicate and curves towards the chest. It looks thicker on the pictures but is very thin lace.

Overall I'm very pleased with the look, feel and comfort of this bra and can't wait to try it in a different size. Quality I'll edit after a month or so of wear. It's a keeper though.

Note: This bra is called Anneliese Balconette but has the same model number as the Georgia (FL6201).

I was so excited when I first took this bra out of the package -- the wires are so deep and narrow! I tried both the 40JJ and the 40K. Initially I was going to choose the 40JJ but after swooping and scooping and bending and stretching I decided to go with the 40K.

    PROS:
    1. The wires don't poke me anywhere!!! They stay in the curve under my breasts more than any bra I've ever worn. The center gore still doesn't sit quite flat, but this is common for my close-set ... boobs. The wires are as close-set as practical, without them overlapping, so I don't think there's much room for improvement here.

    2. The fabric is sheer and lighter than anything I can remember wearing in my adult life. It's cute and sexy, but it seems strong enough to do the job.

    3. The straps are only a little wider-set than the ideal. This is something I always have a problem with, but these are workable and don't bother me while I'm wearing them.

    CONS:
    1. Straps, while fully adjustable, are stretchy and narrow, and there's quite a bit of bounce and jiggle. I usually wear a shaper under work clothes and sometimes casual clothes too. The combo of bra and shaper is firm enough to control bounce for everyday purposes, but this is not a firm bra.

Overall I am thrilled with this bra!!

Its giving me boobs a really odd shape right now but that could just be because its not the right size or it could be the otherwise poor fit. I will be returning and not trying a different size.

Fits comfortably under my arms (need very short wires, everything pokes in my armpits), very light weight, thick straps. Cons: gore does not lie flat , left side quad boob and right side too big (constant problem), feels very light but I think too bouncy and not supportive for my very narrow roots, full on bottom, projected and very soft tissue breast. Fabric is very soft, but thin.

I really love this new style from Flirtelle. It's fresh and modern, and reminds me of Curvy Kate Lifestyle Plunge Bra (CK5711) but with a higher/fuller apex. The mesh is soft and has a small amount of stretch for a really comfy fit, the straps are a nice width and it feels great on. My only pain point is that it doesn't come in a smaller band than 32 backs at the moment - so I'm wearing a 32FF where I'm usually a 28GG/30G. I love it that much though that I will be keeping it and taking the band in for a firmer fit!

It is a single layer of mesh, no lining whatsoever. It does pull slightly at the horizontal seam from the strap, but given the structure of the cup it's inevitable and doesn't seem to cause any issues in fit or support - more just an aesthetic thing.

I bought this 4 or 5 years ago as part of my first purchase from Brastop. Service was excellent as the order arrived a bit sooner than I expected.

The Anneliese was a little loose in the band and too small in the cup for me. These two shortcomings resulted in far too much jiggle. The wires were also a bit too narrow for me. I also found the gore slightly short and, as usual, didn't tack.

I moved on from this bra before I discovered Bratabase so I am unable to supply measurements.

This bra has never really been comfortable for me at any point in my properly-fitting-bra career. It was the first non-matrix bra I tried after finding out that my 32Bs don't, in fact, fit. I should have gone for a 30DD at that point with my 29-inch underbust - the band was true-to-size and painful. And even when I was a true 28E and the band had loosened from wear, it still wasn't comfortable because the wires poked me, and I could never fill that space near the straps. Just a shape mismatch, I guess - almost all plunges are like that on me.

The width is 5 inches, and the depth is 8.5, so in theory this bra should work for me, but I think because the cups are so short, I get cutting and, and when the bra is on the wires feel/appear too narrow. The last time I measured, I wasn't at my largest (which I was about a year ago), so I feel like this should fit. The top also cuts in
