(sorry for my english, i'm french)
I really really like the Gem, it's one of my favorite bra. I have the black one, it's very pretty. There's a light pink mesh and a black mesh on it, with a dot pattern, a pretty transparent black lace on the top of the cup and cute little pink bows.
As the other Freya i ... have and those i tried, the band and the straps are thick, and it makes the bra very comfortable and the quality looks good.
The cups fits my even breast and i think it cans be good for FoB too. The wires go high on the chest, the cups is quite covering and the holding is very good.
It makes a few that i wear it, and the band is not distended. She's elastic but very comfortable and enough firm for me.

I bought this bra last year when I was down to one bra that fit and I was desperate for a spare. I had never worn a bra with tulle sides before. The tulle fabric is way too stretchy to be supportive, and I had to move the band to the tightest hook after just a couple of ... weeks of ownership. The plunge cups are not my favorite shape to wear, either. They're fine if you're standing up straight, but as soon as I bend down or move my arms a lot, they bunch and even gape open at the top even though the bottom of the cup seemed to fit fine. There's also a metal hook on the back of one of the straps that can be used to convert into an x-back, but when it's not being used for that, it digs into my skin uncomfortably.
In short, it's a very pretty bra, but too flimsy to be very supportive and not the best cup shape for me.

I must confess I was really sceptical about the newspaper + ruffles look of this bra, it was all just a little too much for me, but then I saw a picture of the back - OMG HOW ADORABLE IS THAT!? The little hearts <3 I wish all bras had them!
I know the Gazeta is no longer in stock, so my hopes of finding it second hand is basically not existing, so I wonder if any other bras have them? Any brand will do!

I admit that when I saw the Ewa Michalak Chp Gazeta (447) I also thought that they were pretty nice. I was very happy with the pictures that ProperlyFitted took for the blog:

You can set an alert in case anybody lists hers so you don't miss it :)

You might be able to order it through A Revelation in Fit, they had the Gazeta when I was there a few months ago... not cheap tho! I think I paid like $85 or something for mine?

So, I took a risk ordering an EM CH in a band size up. It fits really well when on the tightest hooks, and not as well on the looser ones. I'd like to alter the band down but would like something a bit more creative than the tuck and resew method. Any ideas?
EDIT: I do NOT need to learn *how* to shorten a band. I am looking for cool things I can do to shorten it.

Take a look at the Bra Alterations page, there are some links there for band alteration.
That page unfortunately just tells me different ways to make it shorter -- I'd like to make it shorter *and* prettier, if that makes sense.

I've previously tried the Bravissimo Contour strapless in a 30J, which was laughably small on me, giving both overspill and absolutely no lift or shaping, so I wasn't expecting much from this bra. But, shock of the century, this actually fits me reasonably well (at least based on my quick try-on)! The band seems to run on the firm side ... (possibly slightly under 30 inches), so combined with the smaller-than-my-usual-size cups and the grippy silicone, it's a little hard to put on properly, and I can't fully scoop and swoop, so keep that in mind for my review.
My usual CK size is around a 30K (30JJ in Eden, 32J in Ritzy and Carmen), so I wasn't actually expecting this to work. As a strapless, this gives me an extremely round, nicely uplifted shape, despite technically being too small. I get minor overspill when worn strapless, which becomes much more obvious when I wear the straps (as the cups are lifted more). Being strapless, it's kind of like when you wear a too-small bra with loosened straps to hide it being too small - except in this case, the shape is still good. One problem I did notice was that the section of the band under the gore quickly rolled and flipped under itself. This wasn't particularly uncomfortable, and may be due to me wearing the wrong size, but I don't think it's how it should fit, and it could possibly lessen the bra's staying power.
The bottom of the cups are too shallow for me, and I get slight buckling there, as well as being unable to pull the bra right up into my root. However, this isn't really too bad, and is more cosmetic than anything. I also find the sides are slightly too short for me, and I feel like I'm not properly contained, though I think this is exacerbated by this bra sitting slightly too low on me. In 1-2 cups up, I imagine I would be able to fully scoop into the cups, pull the bra up slightly more, and hopefully rid of the overspill. Overall, though, it's much better than I was expecting, so I'm fairly happy with it. It's definitely a very solid bra, and one to try if you're in the size range (or possibly even for those just outside, if you need a strapless and can't find one).

Please post your review on the blog ;)
"Being strapless, it's kind of like when you wear a too-small bra with loosened straps to hide it being too small - except in this case, the shape is still good"
This is a very valuable observation. Thanks for including this!
It is very cute and playful, but it is not comfortable to wear all day. The straps are too loose when set the normal way, and when they are set to criss cross, the straps dig in painfully because of how thin they are. The material can feel a bit itchy at times. The top of the cups can fold ... down if you accidentally brush them the wrong way. The band is too thin and narrow for my liking. The band has little support. You constantly feel the wires due to the thin material.
Overall:
AWESOME for flirty fun or a hot date (as the name suggests), but not something to count on as a comfy, everyday supportive bra.

I've been looking in to trying a Ewa Michalak bra. Does anyone know how accurate the size calculator on their site is? I normally wear a 28H and the site's calculator gave me a size of 70G. To me this seems like the band would run big on me, or are they just that much tighter?

Yeah, I had a similar question, since I'm normally a 40HH and the site gave me 100FF. I was a little confused by that too.
NightAuracle Hey I'm your sister size (30GG) and I wear 65GG/H. 70G is supposed to be 32G, and as a 28, unless it runs really tight, it'd probably be too big for you. 60 is supposed to be the equivalent for 28, so you'd want 60H. However, her bands are notoriously tight, so you might want to start out with the 65GG and see how it goes. I have a few 70Gs because that was all that was available, but they're all too big. I am 29" underbust, so these 65s are great for me because I'd put them closer to 29" for the most part, rather than the 30" they're supposed to be.
delusivelight My mom's a 38HH and wears their 40HH, which is 90HH. Tried an 85 first, which was supposedly 38, but it is definitely a 36 (I measured). I'd go with 95HH or J probably. The 85 we ordered was 85J, which is exactly 36J and her sister size, so it seems to be fairly accurate for that. I think 100s would probably be too big for you, and FF would definitely be too small in the cup.

I ordered this bra to have a black basic bra but i've been quite astonished. The bra looks like really more pretty in real than on photos on website. There's several superimpositions of mesh which create a pretty diamond-shape patern, there's a little lace on the top of the cup and there's little black ... and very very bright orange ribbons on the straps and on the center gore.
The shape of the cups fits very well my even breast, and i think it can works for FoB breast.
This bra makes a pretty and discreet low-cut. The holding (is it the good word??) is good, the fabric is comfortable (it's not itchy), the band is quite firm and the wires stop low.
It's a very good everyday bra, which gives me a pretty round shape under clothes.

Hi everyone!
I am new to the site and am very hopeful of finding new bras that fit me correctly! I am in need of a strapless bra that will fit under my sweetheart bridesmaid dress. My tissue is very soft, and I am full on the bottom. I've read good and bad things about the panache evie... I am worried about it showing under the dress. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am currently wearing a 32FF Fayreform virtual dream bra. It fits my larger side perfectly...my right side is more than 2 cup sizes smaller.

Freya has the deco strapless (which is also available as a convertible longline) and curvy kate has the luxe convertible if you're looking for options. Otherwise there's these little cushons that you can buy too fill out the bottom and make the breasts look even. Some bras have pocets for them but they will basically stay in place even if there's no pocket. They're available basically in every store that have lingerie, H&M for an example should have them.
Ugh. Now if they would send me the one I ordered last time, I'd have a better idea of my size and might actually get more.
Silly Zulily.
Yep. Mine was supposed to be shipped Friday, but is still 'in transit to zulily'. I'm almost certain it won't ship for another week at least. Good luck!
