Ewa soft launched (quietly released) a few of the Spring novelties she’s been hinting at on her social media platforms. These are the Arabeska and Elegancik- two light, peachy, lacy colorways with new patterns for almost all of the designs she sells. Arabeska comes in S, PL, BM, PLM, and FB-PL, with ... corresponding matching briefs and thongs. Elegancik comes in PLM, BML, and FB-PL- again, along with a matching thong and brief. I honestly couldn’t tell much of a difference between these 2 colour ways, they are both light pink/peach, it is just the lace overlay that differentiates them. Overall I’m excited to see what else she has to offer for the spring season!! But I have yet to find a novelty that will break the bank…

I submitted a provisional patent for a bra sizing system that goes off user measurements in the metric system (for more precision), uses measurements transparently, allows for a third measurement to distinguish chest versus breast, and has sister sizes that don't drift an inch with every step.
So my measurements:
Above bust - 91 cm
Leaning bust (at 90deg from upright) - 97 ... cm
Under bust - 77 cm
Would translate to a standard size of:
77 +20 (or 77 : +20, colon optional but useful if a brand finds itself offering negative sizes)
Or an enhanced size of:
14+ 77 +20 (or 14+ : 77 : +20)
Immediate sister sizes would be:
15+ 76 +21 (down in under bust or base metric, up in above bust or frame metric, up in leaning bust or cup metric)
13+ 78 +19 (up in under bust size, down in both above and leaning bust sizes)
Obviously this doesn't address all the issues we have with bras, but it makes it a lot closer to a user based system that is universal between brands (instead of having you add 0-5 inches to your bust or above bust and wondering what size difference the letter actually corresponds to). For issues with closeness/wideness, breast root width, and other factors, manufacturers can publish that data and be transparent to their customers.
If you know of any bra makers or companies who would like to add this to their sizing offerings, please let me know!

I am confused what this is for? And what does the 14,13, and 15 mean? What does the 3 ratios stand for? I don’t mean to come off as rude, I’m actually just really curious as to what you mean because I don’t think I understand you.
I think the best method is just to take two measurements, one across the bust wearing your best-fitting (hopefully non-padded) bra! And then a second measurement - the band measurement - with the tape as tight as you like to wear your band. This the way most European brands recommend taking measurements. I.e., this is the website for Polish brand, Gaia. https://www.gaia.com.pl/tabela/
Unfortunately, there's a lot of sales gimmicks out there.
In my observations, I think the worst calculator out there (in proper bra sizing, so not + 4) is the "six measurements" calculator; the one positive thing I can say is - at least they're not doing "plus 4" but there's too many people who report being several cup sizes off. It's like, why are you sending women down a "wild goose chase" unnecessarily! SEe this post from this woman who tried on 250 different bras because the "six measurements" calculator gave her the wrong size by three cup sizes. In addition it gave her the wrong band size as well.

A couple of months ago, I picked up a bra that seemed to do the job just fine. It wasn't a perfect match for my breast shape – designed more for those who are even or slightly fuller on top – but the 34DD size seemed to fit well enough. However, today, when I decided to wear it again after ... a month's break, something felt off. It was as if the bra was pressing below my Inframammary Fold (IMF) when I bent down or hunched slightly. It left me puzzled because initially, it used to dig in a bit, but it never ventured below the IMF.
I couldn't help but wonder if I had just started noticing this issue, or if it had been there all along, unnoticed. To gain more clarity about my bra size, I turned to the "abrathatfits" calculator, which recommended a 34DD/E.
It's intriguing how bras and our bodies can play tricks on us, making what was once comfortable suddenly feel awkward. Perhaps this newfound knowledge about my potential bra size will lead me to a more comfortable and flattering fit in the future.
Then I also bought a bra from the brand Curvy Diva Lingerie, which satisfied me with the fitting, but I wanted to know if anyone had used this brand before.

There isn't much info on Curvy Diva Lingerie , only 4 bras right now. Curiously added by a user with the same name.
In my experience, brands that specialize in the sexy/kink area, aren't the best in regards to bra fitting purposes.
I did a quick browse through their website offerings and none of the bras seem to be particularly focused on cup fit. Another symptom is their cup sizes range from A to DD so it's not a huge offering to catter many body shapes.
You'll find that too many people that's been fitted in DD cups are usually F or bigger cups that only had to wear DDs because it was the biggest at their store, so they compensated with increasing band size.
All in all, go for it if you like this look and style, but many factors around this don't seem to be a brand that I'd recommend for someone that needs a properly fitting bra.

I filled out the form last week, had a zoom call this week, and will hopefully get a sample in about a month or two. Very curious to see what it'll be like! Especially since I had no hope of wireless bras since Lara Intimates disappeared.

This is cool, and I hope it works out for you and the brand, but I've really gotta recommend Molke to you if you're looking for a wireless bra in a 26 band!
I’m glad they’re getting the word spread out! I personally tried their Zoe in 26H and felt it wasn’t projected enough for me (I’m on the smaller end of 26FF). It fit best when I didn’t swoop and scoop. I’m not sure if trying in 26I would solve the issue; I just think they need to make more projected cups. But for a user I talked to who has more wide, shallow breasts, she really loved it!

I still haven't found my dream bra but I have time. I wear wireless bras until I find better because comfort. I fell in love with Warner's cloud 9 because it was made with Nylon and Elastane and is full coverage, the only con was 34 is the smallest band size so I wear it on the tightest hook as ... I am a 32D/30E. They got rid of it and started selling the design in Polyester and Elastane. The comfort went down a lot but pills less and is probably more affordable I'm guessing due to the fact that the price went down too... depending on where you got it. All I know is that both versions were sold at the same time at one point, but not usually at the same place. Department stores sold the Nylon one for 40ish and the polyester one you would find at walmart for 15 and still you can find it from 15-20 dollars or pay extra to buy it at at department store for 40 as it "replaced the original" even though it's not worth that. I find that it claims it's original price to be 42 but is marketed "on sale" for 20 or 25 or as part of a buy one get one type sale at any given time by department stores. Anyway Victoria's Secret Incredible push up bra surprised me. I have tried some of theirs in the past and was not satisfied but this one is making me wonder if the original is also good. I've been looking for a wireless push up as well for a long time and found one I can wear long hours and still be comfortable.

I would suggest that you take some good quality photos of yourself in your best non-padded bra and hear what more long-term folks have to say. It can be a normalizing experience and break some thought patterns you have of your body enough so that you can open up your thinking into buying the bras that you need not the ones you think you need. Go slow on the buying process! Measure your bras, measure yourself..... do it again. And have a look at photos of real people here at bratabase in bras of a size for you. Cheap bras do not cut it. Done with advice! Good luck on your bra journey.
New Second Hand Bra Score for Me Today! Its Comexim Plunge Size 28J but was described like a UK 28FF or G. It looks more like a G ot GG + at a glance so It may be too big in the cups. The wires look close set and not too tall. The cups may ... be a little big now that I have lost weight, the 28 band seems firm. I Will keep it even if it is, because it looks like it will be exactly what I need If I gain a little more weight weight. I For some reason it looks like their "hot chocolate plunge" but I may be mistaken. Such a sweetheart reseller. Still excited.

I'm really interested to know how it compares to the regular PL cut because one of my main complaints with the PL was how ridiculously high the gore was in my size (and I've since gained more bust volume so it would be even worse) but this style looks to me to maybe be worth a try, but I'm not quite sure.

fyi, I noticed she posted a PLM in the Antonina colourway on her Instagram with the crossed straps (in the back) option as well, so I'm not sure if they will start making them with optional crossback https://www.instagram.com/p/CYoHtFQtUy5/

Thanks for letting us know! Is their size calculator accurate? I never tried their bras before.
alisa I would say accurate asterisk. And by that I mean I think you can wriggle your sizing around based on your preferences. For instance, I kind of fall between a 30H and 28HH and have been fine in both S Super and XS Super, but I think I could also wear an XS Mega if I wanted fuller coverage (might be a little loose though) or an S Cosmic if I wanted a tighter fit around the bust/shorter cup (might be a little tight though). I haven't tried their Flexi-Size stuff or Bralettes.
I remember we had a conversation about this maybe a few months ago, alisa, and you were worried about being too tall for the straps. What I have to say about that now is that I feel like the straps on an XS are shorter than those on a S, and I think you'd be an M, so I think you might be fine? Also, Flexi-Size bras have adjustable straps if you'd prefer to try that.

I'm certain I'm not the only one who has been waiting for this one to drop, although I might never be able to decide which size to get. The only thing I'm certain of is that my BM in 90HH is one band size too big and one cup size too small, but sizes vary across styles so I really have no clue what I should order.

I havent ordered one in 2 years, but I found that FBs run a little tight in the band and . . . idk, about the same in the cups compared to her other non-lined ones? I've finally lost a little weight so my 75KK FBs are a little loose in the cup, like they were when I bought them, and my 75K SMs fit pretty well. I didnt mind the looseness in the cup as they still give me my best support.
I have been impressed with how many more FBs are out since I last purchased and its really tempting, tho I'd rather lose some more weight. Tho I guess FBs have come down a size, too - 75KK used to be the smallest size.
There are pink ones on sale now for mammograph day or something
Added and waiting for new entries :P

Y'all seen the ads for Empress Mimi? Beautiful luxury lingerie with extended sizing?
Don't bother.
If you haven't seen, here's a link - (I added UTMs so every time someone clicks this link, they'll know how unhappy I am_ https://www.empressmimi.com/?utm_source=ADisappointedCustomer&utm_medium=CrapQualityControlOnSizing&utm_campaign=TellingEveryoneYourSizingIsAJoke
ANYWAY
*Start Rant*
Since Paypal covers return shipping, I decided to take a chance. I ordered the Madame X ... Empress Set (fashion corset, bralette, g-string) - the pretty light blue one with butterflies.
I do NOT recommend Empress Mimi for the following reasons:
1) Lack of customer service and product knowledge. You can only reach them by email and it can take DAYS to hear back. When you do hear back, you're likely going to get vague and generic help that you already found on the website. They do not address specific concerns. It took a week of back and forth to get a sizing confirmation, and another week+ trying to address the issue (ended up giving up and returning).
2) Only positive reviews are posted to their site - this is dishonest and misleading. My 2-star review never got posted.
3) Manufacturing/labeling errors - According to their size chart, I should wear a S++ (I wear a 30F/FF). Per dorkyfaerie 's review on my previous post, and some concerns about the scalability of their size chart, I sized down to a S+ (I'd rather lingerie be a touch small than too big). The corset fit fine, but the bralette was massive. Both were sized S+.
4) QC - NOT worth $100+. The butterflies were cheap, with the rhinestones shabbily glued on. Bralette clasp was extremely difficult to open and close. Materials were not terrible, but certainly not luxury - the mesh/tulle seems very prone to snags/tears and stretching - don't expect typical bralette support. The embroidery and overall look were beautiful, so props for that.
5) While this shipped from Pennsylvania, they want the return to go back to the UK, tracked. What gives? Thank goodness for PayPal.
They suggested exchanging just the bralette, but because I couldn't get a clear answer on whether this bralette runs large and I should size down again, or if this was a labeling error and I just needed an actual S+, I'm returning the whole thing. I'm not going to risk an exchange that doesn't work out, putting the entire order outside the return window.
Pros:
It's pretty.

Has anyone tried Empress Mimi subscription boxes? Its lingerie, so its not bra sizing, BUT, they have sizing going up to a UK GG cup, and they consider 28 and 30 bands. (Like the way Bravissimo does Curvy, Really Curvy, Super Curvy). I'm curious how accurate it is, because if an S+ or an S++ fits... dang those pieces are gorgeous!

Yes! It has been pretty hit or miss for me so far. The S++ has mostly fit me at 32H UK, though there are a couple that are definitely limited to bedroom use only due to a fairly perilous fit on top. I've received 6 so far, and 3 fit really well and are comfortable for everyday use. The other 3 are super sexy and fit well enough for bedroom use.
@dorkyfaerie thank you!
The size chart puts me at barely a S++, as a 30F/FF.
But based on what you say, it sounds like if I'd be better off with the S+?
