I found this on clearance and it is a sister size; the band is too tight without an extender, but the cups fit relatively well. The larger breast has a teensy bit of tissue that is cut by the top edge of the cup. The day I bought this, I tried on another Elomi in a 38 - ... Persia - and it felt as is the band was larger than this one. My guess is that some people would need to size up in the band. The cups are iffy. I went with my sister size and I really needed one cup size larger.
It's wonderful as a plunge bra. I don't have that many items to wear that need this, but everything I've worn it with has worked.

Almost three years ago, I wrote the following, "The bra is very comfortable most of the day. Toward the end of the day, I can feel the band at the bottom. It's odd, because I can easily fit two fingers under the band - it's as if there is less give on the bottom section of the band ... than the rest of it. The shape is very nice and it fits well. I'm full all over and it doesn't cut at the top. The name has changed on it, for what it's worth, and it's now called the Yolanda. I would buy it again."
Today, I never wear this bra. When I first found the correct sizing for me, Elomis were my staple. Weight changes, time, and possibly migration has changed that. Many of the Elomi wires now seem too wide for me, some are set too far apart between the cups, and many do not work with the projection I have. This bra is now too small in the cups (it is close, but not quite large enough) but even if the cups fit, they do not fit as well asit did. I had not worn it in awhile because I'd put on about 15 pounds and was wearing a larger cup and band size. I tried it on today and was surprised at how wide the wires were! Some with an older Briony 40GG and the Persia 40G. The top edge of the Persia fit better than the Eva or Briony, even though it is a cup size smaller, likely because of the lace. The Eva, especially, cut into the edge of my breasts, which are relatively equal. Not sure if it is just not full enough on top; it almost seemed that the cups were just set too far away from each other. When I pulled the center gore material together - as if to narrow it - the cups seems to fit fit.
Ultimately, am on the hunt for narrower wires and gore.

I have never had a really terrible experience before with buying overseas. Made in Preston had poor customer service and so I decided not to even deal with their returns. However I recently made my first two purchases from BiuBiu and I ended up having to return almost all of my first one, which was about $160 USD. It cost ... $40 to ship back. It kills me, but I knew it was the price of redoing my wardrobe and is something I have to suck up with first time fittings overseas. But then the package got held up in customs. I had tracking so I emailed BiuBiu and they said they feared it might get sent back and then I heard nothing from them. For over a month in a half it was held in customs and I emailed BiuBiu repeatedly to see if they could go see about it. They would just say "we'll let you know if anything changes" if they replied at all. Finally the item's status changed to unclaimed and it is going to be returned to me. I emailed BiuBiu again and told them the situation and mentioned that it still hadn't left Poland so they could go and get it. I have received no response at all.
At this point, I'm guessing I'm gonna have to beg Paypal a special exception for a refund, and if they won't do it, have my bank do it in the best case scenario. I'm out of $40 and I'm not going to try to send it again. I'm also about to have a closet full of BiuBiu clothes that don't fit it seems. I will probably never buy from them directly again, as I'm not a huge fan of their clothes, prices or customer service.
I will take the time here to plug Urkye because I am a big fan of all of the previously mentioned. Let me add that I MENTIONED I would be sending a return back to them and they emailed ME back several weeks later saying they were afraid it had been lost; had I sent it? They offered to go to the post office and track it down. I had actually decided to keep the items and didn't think to tell them. I was so impressed I thanked them so profusely for their customer service. Not to mention, they held an order for me for over 6 weeks while I tried to make up my mind! (I feel really bad about that, I kept forgetting about it and then this BiuBiu business kept my money held up). But seriously, if you can - support Urkye over BiuBiu anyday. Great customer service and prices and quality need to be supported. I'll also be posting this "review" on my personal blog in the hopes it will show up in Google's search results.

Do you not belong in the clothes for boobs fb page? Some of the ladies there may be interested in buying the clothes that don't fit you :)
No I typically don't use my Facebook, I have some stuff for sale on eBay and I've posted in reddit... Do you have a link? I typically return clothes if it's a lot of stuff and sell only individual pieces but no way I'm returning all of that.

Hey for those that live in the US, if you have a burlington coat factory near you, they have some parfait bras in stock. At the store near me, they only had a few in stock but on Facebook, I have seen where other people have had better luck with their stores carrying alot. The prices range from $3-$7. A steal if you are able to grab one!

Hourglassy just wrote about getting a custom made coat from etsy. It looks nice. I'd probably get one if shipping were cheaper than $99 to Korea. Maybe this summer!

Thank you!!!!!
Don't get too excited. I don't think they would hold up to the winters here and shipping is super expensive.
My first foray into the world of Curvy Kate is the 38G - Curvy Kate » Princess Balcony Bra (CK6001), which was recently on sale everywhere, at least in the teal colourway, so I thought I would give it a try. I researched the measurements for it and it looked like a 38G would actually ... work for me.
It's a beautiful bra, a gorgeous colour, and very feminine detailing, especially the pink ribbon that runs across the neckline and through the straps. And I am a complete sucker for polka dots. *grin*
So, my response to this bra? Just one word: OMG! I am *totally* in love with this bra. It fits so well, the depth and width of the cups, the length of the wires, the separation of the cups, the width of the straps, and the height of the gore. I feel completely supported, like my boobs are being cradled by firm, gentle hands. It's snug and I like that. It makes me feel very secure, like I won't have to even spare a single thought during the day, worrying about how I look, because this bra makes me feel like I look great. What more can a woman possibly ask of a bra?
I would buy this bra again in a New York minute. If I had the money, I'd buy one in every colour. It also makes me very curious about other CK models.
I am now one very happy woman. *giggle*

I'm a little envious because the mainstay CK shapes just don't work on me. They're so pretty to look at, they come in such a variety of beautiful colorways and you can regularly find them at great prices. Go YOU!
Lynn, I feel your envy. I feel the same way about many of the popular brands here, like the Cleo line, for example. *sigh*

So I just came home today from college for my winter break. I'm lying in bed and thinking and I realized: I left all my bras in my dorm, except for the one I'm wearing now. My winter break is two full months with no access to the dorms at all. I'm now hunting for cheap bras in my size to hold me over. Ugh.

Last night, my dorm hall wing had our Christmas party. I am known far and wide in my dorm as "the girl who always talks about bras." Of course, my gift to my amazing roommate was none other than 4 new bras!! I had already given her two since the year started, but these definitely fit much ... better. I'm not sure if I can attach random pictures to bra adventures, but if I figure it out when I unload them from my digital camera, I will definitely share a picture!! I was really excited, as I spent a few months trying to get some affordable bras for her to have. Thanks so much to the people that I bought from, and even for the one bra I managed to get for free as a giveaway! She said all of them fit better than her current bras, and I am so happy for her. Thank you to the magics of bra fitting and Bratabase!
Oh, and one of my other friends on my wing said she wanted to make me a fake bra with a design on it that represents some of my other passions (which I won't discuss here). She ran out of time to make it, but I thought it was such a cute and funny idea.
Happy holidays, everyone

Just want to say - i see your review was down-voted. I can see why, because you dont really describe the bra or what you like about it - but you DID put in measurements, and imo, thats worth more than words!
Sometimes I go back and edit my reviews after I've had a bra for a while and have a stronger opinion about it.
